In the Holy Bible, it is written: "Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth."(1) And again, it is written: "And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, to execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him."(1) And, there are examples of God's judgment upon this earth.

The Holy Bible speaks about the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, plus other cities of the plain through which the Jordan River flowed. When it comes to why God was displeased with these cities, which caused him to utterly destroy them, the Holy Bible declares: "But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly."(1) Yes, the people of Sodom and the other cities were into homosexuality. Let us look at the brazen deception and the "Sodom and Gomorrah" which exists in our day. And after that, we can begin to look more closely at what happened to ancient Sodom and Gomorrah. And, that which shall happen to the "modern Sodom and Gomorrah" which now exists shall be far worse than what happened to those ancient cities of sin.

It is time to consider what is happening in our "modern" world. In the Holy Bible, it is written: "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived."(1) In our "modern" world, it seems that those who do not go along with the ways of the wicked people of this world, but rather, live a godly life in the true way of Jesus Christ, often suffer harassment, discrimination and persecution. And yes, evil men and seducers, along with evil women, are waxing worse and worse, as they deceive other people and are being deceived themselves.

Now, there is something to make extremely clear. There are many deceivers residing in influential positions in our world, who are working to mislead people by corrupting the truth which is clearly shown throughout the Holy Bible. One of the serious lies which is being propagated is that the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed simply because of the inhospitality of the people of these cities. The real reason for the destruction of these cities is addressed in the pages linked below. So, do not be deceived by the agents of Satan and of the man of sin (1)(2), who go around perverting what the Holy Bible is actually speaking about.

It states: "Some of the most senior clerics in the Roman Catholic church who have vociferously attacked homosexuality are themselves gay, according to a book to be published next week. Well, looking into Chapter 17 (1) in the book of Revelation, at the end of the authentic Holy Bible, it appears to clearly indicate that the Roman Catholic Church is "the great whore that sitteth upon many waters..." Before we look further into the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, plus the other cities of the plain, there is more history to know about these places. In the book of Genesis, in the Holy Bible, in the 14th chapter (1), it speaks about four kings who came and made war against the kings of Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, Zeboiim, and Bela. It then states: "All these were joined together in the vale of Siddim, which is the salt sea." Note that it clearly states that the battle took place in the vale of Siddim. And, it states that "the vale of Siddim was full of slimepits." Now, there are some important things to consider.

The vale of Siddim is where we now see the salt sea or the Dead Sea. Well, there is reason to suspect that the kings were not fighting their war out in or beneath the waters of the Dead Sea. At the time of this war, which occurred in the time before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and the other cities of the plain, there is reason to suspect that the Dead Sea did not yet exist. And, as the Holy Bible declares: "the vale of Siddim was full of slimepits." The "slime" in these slimepits is said to have been asphalt or bitumen, as noted in the pages linked below.

When it comes to Siddim or the vale of Siddim, a page linked here indicates that the word "Siddim" means a field or plain. When it comes to the battle of the kings, spoken about further above, it states that "the original of the passage seems to imply that the Salt Sea covers the actual space formerly occupied by the vale of Siddim." Now, in earlier times, the Dead Sea was called by names like the Sea of Asphalt, Lake Asphaltites, etc. It was given these names because chunks of asphalt would commonly float to the surface, mainly after earthquakes. These things are spoken about in the pages linked below.

Looking further at the vale of Siddim, the page linked below indicates that this was "the valley of fields." It also indicates "that the vale of Siddim was submerged." It appears that it was submerged under the waters of the Dead Sea, which Dead Sea appears to have formed after the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and the other cities of the plain. Now, the linked page states that "there are no bitumen-pits in the plains around the Dead Sea." The page goes on to state: "It has been ascertained, from masses of bitumen frequently thrown to the surface, that there must be wells of bitumen in the bed of the sea towards its southern end."

Based on the available information, it appears that the vale of Siddim --- which vale was the actual battlefield for those kings which are spoken about at the beginning of this section --- was later submerged beneath the waters of the Dead Sea, which Dead Sea did not appear to exist prior to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Now, the page linked below speaks about some deep drilling, to obtain a sediment core. The core shows that 235 meters (770 feet) below the surface, there is a layer of pebbles. These pebbles are apparently from a beach which existed along the Jordan River, before the Dead Sea ever existed.

Later, this presentation shall speak about some great geologic changes which appear to have taken place along this section of the Jordan River, which changes appear to have rapidly taken place during the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. The information which shall be provided should help to explain how the Dead Sea was formed, which formation appears to have taken place after the great destruction in this area. And, the provided information should help to explain why the earlier beach deposits of pebbles are now found way beneath the present surface area which surrounds the Dead Sea.

There are many theories about the actual process which resulted in the destruction of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, plus the other cities of the plush plain through which the Jordan River flowed in earlier times. A couple of the different theories can be seen in the pages linked below. The theory presented in the first linked page speaks of "a huge earthquake that would trigger a massive landslide." The second linked page speaks about earthquake-expelled gases like "light hydrocarbons and hydrogen sulfide," which ignited and basically incinerated Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities of the plain.

The page linked below presents another theory that Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by an intense fire. It also speaks of "the explosion of an asteroid over the area," which generated extremely high temperatures for just a short period of time.

When it comes to the concept of an asteroid exploding over the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah which brought about the utter destruction of this place, there is much written about it, as seen in the pages linked below. The asphalt, petroleum and natural gas which may have formerly existed beneath this area may also have been involved in the fiery destruction. And, there were likely massive earthquakes involved in this whole scenario.

Yes, there truly can be found various theories about the nature of the forces which brought about the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and the other cities of the plain. But, let us look at the only things which the Holy Bible has to say about the destruction. It is clearly written: "Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven; and he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground."(1) So, the incredible destruction appears to have been initiated by brimstone and fire from above.

And, after the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, plus the other cities of the plain, the Holy Bible shows what things looked like from a distance. In relation to this, it is written: "And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the LORD: and he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace."(1) Yes, after the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities of the plain, the whole country of the plain was smoking greatly, like the smoke of a furnace. And, the early furnaces put out much smoke.

Now, let us take the time to learn about the actual setting and general environment of these cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, plus the other cities of the plain, which existed before they were utterly destroyed. Then, let us begin to consider some things which are found in the Holy Bible, plus certain things which are found in the study of geology, which may potentially help us to come to a better understanding about what actually happened to these cities which God destroyed because of their utter wickedness, in his eyes.

For an introduction to the actual, original setting of Sodom and the other cities in this area in earlier times, before they were completely destroyed, let us look at what the Holy Bible declares. When it comes to Sodom and the cities, the record of the Bible begins by speaking about Abram and his nephew named Lot. They both were exceedingly rich with much cattle and there eventually was strife between the herdmen of Abram and those of Lot. So, in order to prevent strife between their herdmen, Abram and Lot decided it was best to move the herds apart, with a distance of separation which would prevent any further strife (1).

When it came to putting a distance between their great herds, in order to prevent strife between brethren, Abram gave Lot first choice of what area he wanted for his herd. When it comes to Lot's choice of location, the Holy Bible records:

"And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar. Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other. Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom."(1)

Now, there is something important to consider. It is very key to understanding what actually happened to Sodom and Gomorrah and the other cities in that area. The location where Sodom and the other cities is believed to have been is not now a plain that is well watered everywhere. It is not like the garden of the LORD, or the garden of Eden (1)(2) into which Adam and Eve were placed. The apparent former location of Sodom and the destroyed cities is now a largely barren desert region, with no rich growths of vegetation. Where the destroyed cities formerly resided is now a deep, sunken, geologic trough on the face of the earth.

Linked here is a cross-section and generalization of the topography of Israel, the Jordan Valley and the land to the east of the Jordan River, as it exists at this time. And, the lower Jordan River and Dead Sea reside in a deep, sunken, geologic trough. Looking into things further, linked here is an aerial video of the rather barren countryside where the Jordan River empties into the Dead Sea. Linked here is another video of the Jordan River, Dead Sea region. Well, at this point in time, this region sure does not look extremely lush. It does not look anything like "the garden of the LORD" would have looked. It is definitely not a well watered plain.

There is something else to consider, especially when it comes to the area around where Sodom and Gomorrah existed, before God utterly destroyed that place because of the extreme wickedness of the people therein. Once again, it was a very well watered plain, rather than a sunken geologic trough. And in this well watered plain, there were all of those slime pits, or bitumen-pits which were on the plain which existed, before this area was destroyed by God. Those bitumen or tar pits indicate that there was petroleum in this area, in earlier times. And then, it was lush with vegetation, like "the garden of the LORD."

There is now something which may be worth considering, especially when it comes to the extremely lush vegetation which it appears had formerly existed in this now desolate area...in this desolate and very deeply sunken area which is now inhabited by the Dead Sea. There is something to consider, especially when it comes to those tar pits which are located in that area now covered by the Dead Sea, which tar pits are commonly associated with petroleum. It is time to consider what just the right amount of petroleum can do to vegetation, to create an area which has very lush vegetation, like "the garden of the LORD."

The page linked below speaks about some islands where there is gigantism in herbaceous plants. It appears that this gigantism in plants can potentially be caused by reducing hydrogen sulfide gases in an area where there is an increased content of petroleum hydrocarbons, along with certain trace elements. And then, the page speaks about gigantism in plants being manifested in zones where there are active faults, where these faults "serve as a kind of conduits supplying endogenous heat, matter, and water to the root systems."

Now, those tar pits in the area where Sodom and Gomorrah formerly existed do indicate that there was an increased content of petroleum hydrocarbons in this area. The increased hydrocarbons, along with the fault or rift system which does exist beneath this area, plus potentially the leakage of reducing hydrogen sulfide gases through the fault or rift system, may have allowed for gigantism in the herbaceous plants around Sodom and Gomorrah. The petroleum hydrocarbons, along with some hydrogen sulfide, may have allowed this area to formerly be filled with lush vegetation, so that it was like "the garden of the LORD."

The pages linked below look closer at plant gigantism on the island of Sakhalin. The pages state the following: "The huge plants of Sakhalin interested scientists back in Soviet times. Trying to find the answer to the question of gigantism, geologists were transplanting these herbs to the European part of Russia, but the burdocks would only grow to their normal continental size. French specialists, back in 1935, tried growing Sakhalin buckwheat, but achieved the same results -- it grew to its ordinary, everyday size. They only got monsters when experimenting with the species on the island."

Yes, there was a certain environment on the island of Sakhalin which allows for plant gigantism. Regarding this issue, the pages state: "It turns out that gigantism doesn't affect all plants on the island -- just those that grow above the places where the Earth's upper crust has cracked. These places of tectonic activity contain ultra-wet soil, rich in copper, cerium and chrome, which are likely to have an effect on the resulting size." And, associated with faults in the earth's crust and the tectonic activity, there is likely also some hydrogen sulfide gas involved, which helps with that gigantism in plants.

Now, let us see what hydrogen sulfide can do for vegetation. In the first page linked below, section number 3 is titled Physiological Functions of H2S in Plants. At the end of the second paragraph in that section is found these words: "H2S strongly affects plant metabolism at most stages of life and causes statistically significant increases in biomass, including higher fruit yields." So, just the right amount of hydrogen sulfide gas --- not too little and definitely not too much --- in the area around ancient Sodom and Gomorrah could have helped to produce all of that lush vegetation which made it like "the garden of the LORD."

Looking further into the noted section in the first linked page, it states that hydrogen sulfide "is important for plant protection against stress." The section states that "H2S was shown to alleviate the effects of aluminum, cadmium, chromium and boron toxicity, drought and osmotic stress, heat stress, hypoxia, and other stresses." Looking into the second page linked below, it states: "Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) is regarded as a 'New Warrior' for managing plant stress. It also plays an important role in plant growth and development." So, let us begin to see just what hydrogen sulfide can do for plant growth.

The title on the page linked below says it all. In the Summary, the page states: "In low doses, hydrogen sulfide, a substance implicated in several mass extinctions, could greatly enhance plant growth, leading to a sharp increase in global food supplies and plentiful stock for biofuel production, new research shows." At low doses, the affect of hydrogen sulfide on plant growth is almost unbelievable, plus, the rate of seed germination is increased. In the experiment spoken about in the page, "crop yields nearly doubled." And, something like that may have been happening around ancient Sodom and Gomorrah.

Well, let us look into this issue a bit further, about the correct amount of hydrogen sulfide actually being a very beneficial help to plants. And, once again, it should be noted that hydrogen sulfide, in the correct amount, opens up an avenue for greatly increasing plant growth and crop production. Now, just some of the benefits which the correct amount of hydrogen sulfide can provide for plants and crops is noted in the pages linked below.

At this point, let us consider the availability of hydrogen sulfide in the area around the Dead Sea. It should be noted the the volume or amount of hydrogen-sulfide-laden-waters in the actual plant-environment may have been much less in the days before the utter destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. The modern flow of hydrogen-sulfide-laden-waters of the Dead Sea area were potentially the result of a shifting landmass and altered groundwater systems. So, let us now begin to examine information about hydrogen sulfide waters in the Dead Sea area.

And again, hydrogen sulfide in the correct amount can increase plant growth. But, too much hydrogen sulfide will harm or even kill plants...which can lead to barren land. Now, the page linked below states: "The dead sea is surrounded by thermo-mineral springs. These are rich in hydrogen sulfide, salt (obviously), and forty some other minerals." The page notes that these mineral waters from the thermo-mineral springs, which spring waters are rich in hydrogen sulfide, have health benefits for humans. But, based on the picture in the page, all that excess hydrogen sulfide and minerals is not good for growing a lot of healthy plants.

The page linked below states the following: "The treatment method [is] based on the use of mineral waters enriched in hydrogen sulfide. Hydrogen sulfide baths have anti-inflammatory, metabolic, epithelizing, immune-modulating, detoxifying, secretory and sedative effects on the body. It is indicated for diseases of the cardiovascular, peripheral and central nervous system, musculoskeletal system, skin diseases, chronic poisoning with salts of heavy metals, vibration disease and tube infertility." But, there is more to the story.

The linked page goes on to state: "Contraindications are acute and chronic diseases of the liver, biliary tract and kidneys, coronary heart disease, functional class III angina, stage II heart failure, toxic-allergic reaction to hydrogen sulfide, vegetovascular dysfunction, severe cerebral arteriosclerosis." So, if a person has any of the health issues just named, it appears that the hydrogen sulfide baths may not help, but potentially could even harm them. So, excess hydrogen sulfide in bath waters is not good for even certain humans.

When it comes to hydrogen sulfide in thermal springs and people soaking in those springs, there is more to consider. The page linked below speaks of a possible fatal outcome when hydrogen sulfide begins "the blocking of cellular respiratory enzymes", which leads "to cell anoxia and cell damage." The page speaks of two victims of acute hydrogen sulfide intoxication which was caused by the inhilation of hydrogen sulfide which had "evaporated from the water of a thermal spring."

Well, this story about hydrogen sulfide intoxication gets a bit more spooky. The linked page states that the two victims " were found in a hotel room were they could take a thermal bath. A 26-year-old male was found unconscious; he was resuscitated, received supportive treatment and survived. A 25-year-old female was found dead. Autopsy showed diffuse edema and pulmonary congestion." The page also states: "Forensic investigation established that the thermal water was coming from the hotel's own illegal well."

So, as noted in the preceding section [link], a small amount of hydrogen sulfide can be good for plant growth, even to the point of causing giantism. But, too much hydrogen sulfide can harm vegetation, plus too much hydrogen sulfide can and will kill people. And, at the time of the destruction of ancient Sodom and Gomorrah, it is very likely that a large amount of escaping hydrogen sulfide gas aided in the killing of these wicked people. Plus, with hydrogen sulfide being flammable, it aided in the burning of these people.

At this point, let us look at something from the Holy Bible which speaks about how God changes things because of how people are in different areas. If virtually all of the people in a region follow in the true way of God, they can be blessed by God. But, if the majority of the people want to turn away and go against the true way of God, at some point, the blessing from God will be totally removed and things can then rapidly change for the people in that region. In relation to these things, the following is written in the Holy Bible:

"Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.
          He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground; a fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.
          He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings. And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation; and sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase. He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.
          Again, they are minished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow. He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way. Yet setteth he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock.
          The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth. Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD."(1)

Now, once again, in the days of Abram and Lot, before God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, plus those other cities, the Jordan River flowed through a plain that "was well watered every where." But, it is not a well-watered area today. It is basically a rather barren land. It is not lush with vegetation, like the garden of the LORD, or like the garden of Eden, anymore. So, what happened, as part of the destruction from God, which changed things so that it is no longer a well-watered and flourishing region?

Let us now consider how earthquakes, of the shifting of things along fault lines, can change the flow of water in wells or springs. At times, the change can be very drastic. Now, the page linked below begins with the following words:

"Hydrogeologic responses to earthquakes have been known for decades, and have occurred both close to, and thousands of miles from earthquake epicenters. Water wells have become turbid, dry or begun flowing, discharge of springs and ground water to streams has increased and new springs have formed, and well and surface-water quality have become degraded as a result of earthquakes. Earthquakes affect our Earth's intricate plumbing system -- whether you live near the notoriously active San Andreas Fault in California, or far from active faults in Florida, an earthquake near or far can affect you and the water resources you depend on."

Looking at the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake in Japan, the page linked below declares: "The Kumamoto earthquake sequence, which occured on 14th and 16th April 2016, resulted in visible hydrological events (e.g. increase in flow rate of some springs and complete stopping of others). These events implied a possible change in the groundwater flow dynamics. This change in flow dynamics might have occurred over a wide area." In the case of this earthquake, the flow of some springs increased, while the flow stopped completely in other springs. So, potentially, radical flow changes in springs can result from earthquakes.

The page linked below speaks about different things which are causing the drying up of springs in the country of Nepal. Then, about half way down, it states: "In addition, Nepal lies in a seismically active region and experiences earthquakes of various magnitudes. These earthquakes disturb underground aquifers and alter the direction of groundwater flows, causing springs to dry up." So, the shifting of things in the ground as a result of earthquakes can cause springs to dry up.

The page linked below speaks about the 1983 Borah Peak earthquake in Idaho. At the bottom of the page is a section titled Dramatic Changes in the Hydrology. It states: "Soon after the earthquake, dramatic changes occurred to the hydrologic systems in the Thousand Springs Valley and adjacent areas along the fault zone. Significant hydrologic changes also took place as far away as Yellowstone National Park where the eruptive cycles of many geysers, including Old Faithful, were modified." The page then states: "Early reports of hydrologic effects included increases, decreases, or stoppage of well and spring flows."

From the things presented above, it is obvious that seismic activity can change the flow of groundwater. In many cases, flow is increased and even new springs are formed. But, in other cases, the flow of springs has been stopped. Now, looking at the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, there is reason to suspect that many formerly high-flow springs had their flows reduced or greatly restricted by ground-shifting, for the Dead Sea region in no longer that well watered, very lush plain which the Holy Bible indicates existed before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. It is now a "thirsty" and rather arid land.

At this point, there is more to consider in this story. Again, the writer has reason to suspect that in the days of Abram and Lot, prior to the utter destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, the Dead Sea did not exist. There is reason to suspect that, before the complete destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, the area around the current Dead Sea did not reside about 1400 feet below sea level, like it does now (1), but was somewhere between 1500 to 2000 or more feet higher in elevation. This would have placed the complete Jordan River and the associated Jordan Valley above sea level. So, how could something like this be the case?

Well, the page linked below speaks about the Jordan Rift Valley. It states that this rift valley "is an elongated depression...[which]...includes the entire length of the Jordan River -- from its sources, through the Hula Valley, the Korazim block, the Sea of Galilee, the (Lower) Jordan Valley, all the way to the Dead Sea, the lowest land elevation on Earth -- and then continues through the Arabah depression, the Gulf of Aqaba whose shorelines it incorporates, until finally reaching the Red Sea proper at the Straits of Tiran."

Near the bottom of the discussion in the linked page is a section titled Dead Sea Transform. When it comes to the Dead Sea Transform, the last sentence in that section states the following: "It has also been proposed that the fault zone is a rift system that is an incipient oceanic spreading center, the northern extension of the Red Sea Rift." So, there is the potential that the northern extension of the Red Sea Rift now includes the Gulf of Aqaba and the Dead Sea Transform and the Jordan Rift Valley, for the other option for a northerly extension of the Red Sea Rift is the Gulf of Suez (1). And, there is more to this story.

When it comes to the Gulf of Suez Rift, the page linked below states that, "The Gulf of Suez Rift is a continental rift zone that...represented a continuation of the Red Sea Rift until break-up occurred...with most of the displacement on the newly developed Red Sea spreading centre being accommodated by the Dead Sea Transform." So, it appears that most of the spreading from the Red Sea Rift is now accommodated by the Dead Sea Transform, plus would likely also be accommodated, at least to some degree, by the associated Jordan Valley Rift.

The caption beneath Figure 3.121 on page 227 in the book linked below states: "The flanks of the Gulf of Acaba-Dead Sea-Jordan Valley rift is characterised by block faulting and intense dike intrusion." The caption states: "The overall extensional setting makes it possible for fluidised magmas to penetrate the overlying host rock sequence. It illustrates the gradual oceanisation of the continental crust with the formation of an incipient spreading centre in the middle of a graben system and/or pull-apart strike slip movements." So, it appears that things may be pulling apart, or spreading apart, in this rift system.

The paragraph above speaks about a graben system. In relation to this, the page linked below declares: "The sector of the Dead Sea is an asymmetric graben 20 km (12 mi) from rim to rim and over 120 km (75 mi) long. The total throw from the west rim, where the Upper Cretaceous crops out to the deeper portion of the grabens, is more than 8 km (26,200 ft). Throw on the eastern side is considerably greater as the valley wall is largely Precambrian. The level of the Dead Sea is -400 m (-1300 ft) - the lowest place on earth." And, as we shall see in the next section, a graben can sink downward into the earth.

Now, the spreading or pulling apart in a rift system, especially one which includes a graben, can potentially allow for the relatively rapid sinking of the landmass along the rift system. And again, the writer has reason to suspect that in the days of Abram and Lot, prior to the utter destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, the area around what is now the Dead Sea did not reside roughly 1300 feet below sea level. There is reason to suspect that this land around what is now the Dead Sea formerly resided at an elevation somewhere between 1500 to 2000 or more feet higher than it is now. So, let us consider a similar type of example.

A page-section linked here is titled Considering an Indian Tradition. The section speaks about what happened during the Owens Valley earthquake in 1872, which occurred in the state of California, USA. The Indians in the Owens Valley became very afraid during the very strong and destructive earthquake and quickly departed from the valley. Now, why were they so afraid of this particular valley? Well, the linked section contains the following words which are quoted from a number of linked sources:

"The Indians in that vicinity have all left, fearing a recurrence of the general convulsion of nature, which, according to tradition, occurred in that region some hundreds of years ago, and created what is known as Owens River valley, but which was before a chain of mountains."

According to Indian tradition, there was formerly a chain of mountains, possibly high mountains like those which parallel on both sides of the current Owens Valley, which existed at this location before the Owens Valley was created. And then, according to Indian tradition, there was "the general convulsion of nature...some hundreds of years ago", or, there was a massive earthquake some hundreds of years ago, in which a section of the earlier chain of mountains rapidly sunk hundreds of feet into the earth and then became a valley between the high mountain chains we now see on both sides of the sunken valley.

At this point, there is something very important to note. The preceding section (1) of this presentation speaks about the Jordan Valley rift and raises the issue of the rapid sinking of the Jordan Valley during a major event around the time when the wicked cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed. The preceding section also speaks about spreading or pulling-apart of the landmass in the Jordan Valley rift and the Dead Sea Transform, plus it also speaks about a potential graben (1)(2)(3)(4)(5). Well, it does appear that a similar type of thing is being dealt with in the Owens Valley, in eastern California.

Now, the first page linked below declares: "Owens Valley is a graben -- a downdropped block of land between two vertical faults -- the westernmost in the Basin and Range Province. It is also part of a trough which extends from Oregon to Death Valley called the Walker Lane." The page also speaks about the graben being formed by earthquakes. Well, as it appears in an image linked here, the Jordan River and the Dead Sea, by Israel, also reside in a very deep geologic trough, which may be associated with a graben.

When it comes to what happened in just the rather mild 1872 earthquake which occurred in the Owens Valley in California --- which quake appears to have been much milder than the event some hundreds of years ago which the Indians spoke about --- the second linked page states: "The earthquake resulted from sudden vertical movement of 15-20 feet (4.6-6.1m) and right-lateral movement of 35 to 40 feet (11 to 12m) on the Lone Pine Fault and part of the Owens Valley Fault." So, even in the relatively mild 1872 quake, there was a sudden --- yes, "sudden" --- vertical movement of the valley floor, as it dropped 15-20 feet.

Now, it is time for a very important question. Who are we to believe? Should we believe the Indians or the "scientists," when it comes to how long it took for the Owens Valley to be created? Should we believe the Indians, whose forefathers where actually there in the area and saw things happen with their own eyes, when the Owens Valley, during a massive earthquake, was suddenly created by a swiftly dropping block of mountains. Or, on the other hand, should we believe modern "science" which claims that the Owens Valley was slowly created by earthquakes which occurred over a period of about three million years?(1)

Well, let us consider some relatively recent geologic events in which the modern "scientists" or the wannabe "science-gods" were thoroughly blindsided and basically left dumbfounded. These events should begin to expose the extreme danger in blindly believing modern "scientists" and their so-called "science," rather than believing those who were actually there to see a particular geologic event occur and who then left warnings for later generations. Possibly we should also be extremely leery, when it comes to any of the "scientists" predictions about future events.

When it comes to what we are being told by "science" and how long it took for things to happen or be created, or when it comes to any "scientific" predictions for the future, there is some information which may be worth keeping in mind. In February 1981, the infamous CIA Director named William Casey --- who was a member of the Knights of Malta, which Knights of Malta are part of the Jesuit-controlled militia of the pope, which militia is ultimately controlled by the Jesuit General in Rome --- allegedly declared the following in a cabinet meeting with President Reagan: "We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false."(1)(2)(3)(4)(5)

Now, a page-section linked here is titled Lessons from New Zealand. It speaks about things which were learned during the 2016 New Zealand quake event. During the 2016 event, the "scientists" computerized models were so wrong that they were totally blindsided and basically left "with egg on their faces" because of all that happened. One of the more honest scientists declared: "If [the Kaikoura earthquake] had happened 1000 years ago ... if you were to look at it with current paleoseismic methods that are available you would see it as separate individual events. You would never consider it as a single rupture."

What it appears that the more honest scientist was alluding to is that the paleoseismic methods, which have been used for many decades to place a date on geologic events, are extremely flawed. It appears that they are so extremely flawed that they are totally unreliable. It appears that these flawed paleoseismic methods should never be depended on in any manner to predict what could happen during seismic events in the future. And in the 2016 New Zealand earthquake event, all the ground movement on a number of faults all occurred in a single earthquake event, not in numerous events spread out over millions of years.

So, if your life depended on trusting the Indians and their historic traditions, or trusting the flawed paleoseismic methods and apparently just as flawed computerized models of the modern "scientists," which would you choose to trust? Well, as a result of their years of research, the writer would likely put more trust in especially those Indian traditions about massive earthquakes of the past and how quickly the topography was changed. And now, when it comes to trusting the "scientists" and their computerized models, there is something which should just boggle the mind of any thinking citizen.

In the 2011, magnitude 9.0 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami in Japan, approximately 18,500 to 19,747 or more lives (1)(2) were needlessly lost. From the writer's research, it appears that many lives were lost because way too many people, especially those in positions of power, depended on or trusted the flawed opinions and computer models of the wannabe "science-gods" who seemed to be "in charge." So, what was one of the major problems with the wannabe "science-gods" and their flawed information.

Well, the page linked below states: "Many researchers before Tohoku had published the tsunami records, but earthquake modelers didn't believe the geological data because their models didn't replicate them." So, can you believe this kind of stuff is actually happening with the so-called "professional scientists?" From the things shown so far in this presentation, it should be more than obvious that the theories and computer models of the so-called scientists, in many cases, are seriously flawed. And, these "people," in their stupidity and utter negligence, even rejected the genuine tsunami records and many lives were lost.

Now, shouldn't authentic scientists base their opinions and theories on the best information available? So, check out the pages linked below. They speak about the numerous tsunami warning stones which dot Japan's coastal areas. But, even with all of this "in your face" evidence about what can happen in Japan when it comes to tsunamis which result from huge earthquakes, the wannabe "science-gods" of our day thought that they knew much better than the "guaranteed-sure-thing" records left by earlier generations. Well, as they say, "There is no cure for stupid." Unfortunately, these people seem to be in control of things.

In the pages linked below, it can be seen that in the 2011 Japan earthquake and tsunami event, the wiser people in Japan paid heed to the warnings from their forefathers which were written in stone, rather than depending on the flawed information of the often erring "scientists." It appears that virtually all of those people who acted in accordance with those things which were written on the old tsunami stones, rather than blindly following the errors of modern "scientists," survived the 2011 event.

When it comes to preparing for major natural disasters which may likely occur in a person's region, it may be wisest for a person to competently do their own research about what can potentially happen, even using history as a guide. Then, should the natural disaster occur, it may possibly be wisest for a person to then trust their instincts, when it comes to what they should do in order to survive the diaster as best as possible. Do not leave the safety of your life to others, especially not to erring "scientists."

At this point, there is something extremely important which needs to be noted. There were a few true scientists in Japan who knew prior to the 2011 earthquake and tsunami event that such a large earthquake/tsunami event could occur. These true scientists spoke about the possibility of a large event at least as far back as 2009, and a few spoke about it even earlier. These things are spoken about in the page linked below. The page mentions a Japanese geologist named Yasutaka Ikeda, who at a conference in 2005 spoke about Japan experiencing an M9.0 earthquake in the near future.

In 2005, Yasutaka Ikeda declared that there would be "catastrophic consequences" from the coming earthquake "because Japan's famous earthquake-and-tsunami preparedness, including the height of its sea walls, was based on incorrect science." But, unfortunately, it appears that the statements of Yasutaka Ikeda were largely ignored by those who have hijacked control of the "scientific" community. So, just six years later in 2011, Japan was not properly prepared for the massive earthquake and tsunami which actually occurred. And the lose of life and property was staggering.

When it comes to other Japanese scientists who understood, prior to the devastating 2011 event, that a huge earthquake and tsunami were coming to northeastern Japan in the near future, there is a geologist named Masanobu Shishikura and his colleagues to consider. Shishikura looked at various rocks and the rich soil which is found in northeastern Japan. The page linked below states that "he found layers of sand and pebbles that appeared to have been carried inland by tsunamis." He even had rough dates for the earlier tsunamis. The layers of tsunami evidence were "separated by several centuries of soil buildup."

Once Shishikura and his colleagues had enough evidence of a coming, massive earthquake and tsunami event, they presented their findings to the government. The page linked below states: "The Trade Ministry dismissed the evidence, and the Tokyo Electric Power Co. did nothing to beef up defenses at Fukushima." And, there is reason to suspect that the same type of situation will exist at other places in this world, when they experience their next, very devastating geologic disaster. There is reason to suspect that the same situation now exists in the Cascadia region (1), in the Pacific Northwest of the United States.

Let us now look further at the 2011 earthquake and tsunami disaster in Japan, plus the geologist named Masanobu Shishikura, so that we can better understand the nature of all too many of those in controlling positions in government. The page linked below notes that in August 2010, an article from Shishikura and his colleagues "appeared in a journal published by the Active Fault and Earthquake Research Center in Tsukuba, the government-funded institute where Dr. Shishikura works." In the article it was stated: "We cannot deny the possibility that [such a tsunami] will occur again in the near future." And, this information appears to have fallen on "deaf ears." There were way too many who were living in denial.

There was even an earlier warning given. The page linked below states: "Dr. Shishikura's boss at the center, Yukinobu Okamura, had even mentioned the results [the findings of Shishikura and his colleagues] at a 2009 meeting of an official committee discussing the safety of nuclear-power plants. Dr. Okamura says the idea of beefing up tsunami preparedness didn't go anywhere." After the devastating earthquake and tsunami, Shishikura "felt vindicated after past slights, remembering the local official who didn't want to help him dig holes in the earth for research and who called the endeavor a 'nuisance.'" And, over 18,000 people perished because of the apparent negligence of these derelict officials.

When it comes to the deadly and devastating 2011 earthquake and tsunami event in Japan, the page linked above states: "Many lives could have been saved, at relatively little cost, by spreading awareness of the danger." Yes, many lives could have been saved if officials had simply done the proper job and spread awareness of the earthquake and tsunami danger to various agencies and the general public at large. But, those in controlling positions in government were possibly more interested in partying and getting laid, than they were in protecting the lives and property of the citizens. It appears that all too often, those in government positions only really care about themselves and having fun and keeping their cushy job.

There is now another extremely important lesson to learn from history, especially when it comes to people blindly following the advice of the all-too-often erring and blindsided "scientists." There is something extremely important which people need to really consider and take to heart, especially when it comes to "the pros" or those wannabe "science-gods" telling the people that everything is going to be okay, even when "the obvious signs" are "loudly screaming" to the people that things may not actually be as okay as the wannabe "science-gods" are telling them.

Let us once again look to Japan for a very important lesson. In June of 1913, there were mild earthquakes and steam emissions which began to occur at the Sakurajima volcano (1). By early January of 1914, geologic activity at the volcano had escalated to the point where many of the local residents began to fear an imminent eruption of the volcano. So, what happened? Well, it appears that the local officials checked with the "pros" and wannabe "science-gods" of that day for their opinions. Then, the officials declared to the public that there would be no eruption of the volcano and that there was no need to evacuate (1).

Then, on January 12, 1914, there was an explosive eruption of the Sakurajima volcano, known as the Taisho eruption (1)(2)(3). Unfortunately, many people in the area had not evacuated, possibly because they had listened to the wannabe "science-gods" and the officials and therefore had a false sense of security. Those people who had not evacuated from the area became trapped between the flowing lava and the sea. In this disaster, villages were wiped out and hundreds of people were killed or injured. It appears that these people were killed or injured because they had blindly put their trust in the "pros" and wannabe "science-gods."

Well, in the aftermath of the disaster, some of the people in the region wanted to make sure that future generation did not blindly put their trust in the "scientists." In the right-hand column of page 669 of 754, in the book linked below, there is a section titled 'Do not Rely on Authorities'. The noted section states: "After the Taisho Eruption, 64 stone monuments were built within Kagoshima Prefecture. Some of these were to commemorate migration, but the majority conveyed the lessons learnt from the disaster." And now, let us consider one of the lessons learned from the disaster, at least by the smarter ones in the region.

The noted section goes on to state: "One of the best-known monuments is the Sakurajima Taisho Eruption Monument built 10 years after the disaster in a village in east Sakurajima. Called 'The Monument to the Distrust of Science', part of the inscription literally says, 'citizens must not rely on theory'. The words refer to the story of the 30 islanders who lost their lives because they did not evacuate, following the authority's instruction and trusting the 'scientific' judgement of the meteorological station." By the way, it appears that it was the village mayor who had erected this monument.

Now, the page linked below gives a bit more detail about 'The Monument to the Distrust of Science'. It states: "A monument to the disaster located at Sakurajima elementary school is commonly called the 'distrust science monument'. As a warning to future generations, it reads in part, 'It is essential that residents put no trust in theory, but make preparations to evacuate immediately after detecting abnormalities.'" Indeed, do not trust "a scientific bureaucracy [which] confidently provides tragically incorrect information." Yes, do not blindly trust the all-too-often blindsided "scientists."

The page linked below declares: "Seismologists were surprised in 2004 when a magnitude-9.3 quake and tsunami devastated Sumatra and caused more than 200,000 deaths around the Pacific Rim. They were surprised again in 2011 by Japan's 9.0 quake and tsunami, which killed more [than] 15,000 people and touched off a nuclear catastrophe that continues to this day." The page also states: "In each case, experts didn't think the area where one geological plate is diving beneath another --- known as a subduction zone --- was capable of generating a quake that strong."

The page linked below also notes things which happened during the deadly 2004 Sumatra earthquake and tsunami event, plus which happened during the very devastating 2011 Japan event. It also mentions the 2016 New Zealand earthquake event which blindsided "scientists" when multiple faults were ruptured. The page notes that "in every case, the Earth did something scientists absolutely did not expect." Examples like these indicate that it may not be wise for people to blindly put their faith in whatever it is that the majority of those "scientists" or wannabe "science-gods" are loudly proclaiming.

When it comes to those multiple faults which unexpectedly ruptured in the 2016 New Zealand earthquake event, the page linked below states: "The earthquake ruptured at least 12 major crustal faults plus another nine lesser faults and there was also evidence of slip along southern end of the Hikurangi subduction zone plate boundary..." The page also states: "This complex earthquake defies many conventional assumptions about the degree to which earthquake ruptures are controlled by individual faults, and provides additional motivation to re-think these issues in seismic hazard models."

The linked page goes on to state: "The message from Kaikoura [New Zealand] is that earthquake science should be more open to a wider range of possibilities when rupture propagation models are being developed." But, how far are those in control of the wannabe "science-gods" willing to go when it comes to adjusting their computerized models to a much wider range of possibilities? How far are they willing to go in "fixing" their flawed models, especially when considering that further above (1) in this presentation, it is shown that those making the models in Japan disbelieved or foolishly rejected the published tsunami records "because their models didn't replicate them."

Looking further at the devastating earthquake and tsunami event which occurred in Japan in 2011, plus the situation which existed with the "blind scientists," the page linked below plainly states that the epicenter for this quake was located "in a strip of ocean crust previously thought unlikely to be capable of unleashing such energy." Note clearly that which was just quoted. The "scientists" did not think that a particular strip of ocean crust was capable of unleashing such energy. So, should people blindly put their trust in what the majority of "scientists" are claiming, when it comes to the nature of events which have happened in the distant past, or when it comes to the nature of events which will happen in the future?

When it comes to "scientists" not getting it right when it comes to where a powerful earthquake can come from in a particular area, let us consider the Mexico City earthquake of September 2017. The page linked below states that the devastating earthquake "did not come from the place many geologists thought would unleash the next 'big one'." And, once again, there is reason to suspect that a very similar type of thing will happen in the Cascadia region (1), which is located in the Pacific Northwest of the United States and in coastal British Columbia, Canada. That coming quake may utter devastate this region.

Well, it appears that the extremely foolish officials and the utterly unwise population, in the United States and elsewhere, are openly showing their foolishness and love for utter wickedness by fully supporting and revelling in Sodom and Gomorrah type activities. It appears that they have utterly failed to learn the lessons from Sodom and Gomorrah. Yes, they are "thumbing their noses" at God. And, they are more interested in supporting and participating in Sodom and Gomorrah type activities, than they are about truly finding out the utter devastation and anguish which is coming their way in the rapidly approaching days ahead.

Just like the foolish and arrogant people of ancient Sodom and Gomorrah, these decadent ones today have given themselves fully over to the unrestrained lusts of their flesh. This can readily be discerned by what is found in the mere introductory pages linked below. But, their eternal destruction is coming, as they are wilfully casting away their chance of salvation and redemption. Yes, they think that they are having so much fun now, but the price for their foolishness shall be staggering, as they shall be relegated to the everlasting lake of fire and utter torment, without a moment's respite and with no more chance of salvation.

When it comes to the open homosexual revelry and parades which are commonly happening in the fallen United States and virtually worldwide, mainly in the decadent countries, there is something to note in the Holy Bible. It is written: "The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves."(1) Yes, these foolish people openly declare their sin of Sodom. They are proud of their sin and wickedness and openly war against and "thumb their noses" at the Most High God of heaven. But, they are actually rewarding evil unto themselves, in the final end.

Earlier in this presentation (1), it is stated that the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were located in a well watered plain. Looking again at the record of the Holy Bible, this plain where Sodom and Gomorrah were located was "well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD." Before the LORD detroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, there is reason to suspect that the lower Jordan River and the area around that which is now the Dead Sea did not reside in the deep geologic trough (1) where they are found today, but the land in this area formerly resided at a much higher elevation.

Considering things further, there is reason to suspect that before the utter destruction of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, when the land of the Jordan Valley which is now sunk deep in that huge geologic trough (1) was likely residing at a much higher elevation than it is now, the waters of the Jordan River would have flowed all the way to the Gulf of Aqaba and onward to the Red Sea. And, there is something further to consider, especially if the now sunken landmass of the Jordan Valley were to reside at a much higher elevation, like 1,500 to 2,000 feet higher in elevation.

If the block of earth upon which the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea area reside were elevated about 1,500 to 2,000 feet plus in elevation, there would then not be such high hills and mountain "walls" towering over the Jordan Valley on the east and west sides (1)(2)(3), nor would there be such high mountains towering over the Dead Sea area (1)(2)(3)(4)(5). If the block of earth containing the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea were raised much higher in elevation, the Jordan Valley/Dead Sea area would likely receive better air flow, more rain and the temperature would possibly be more moderate, which could change things greatly.

The first page linked below declares: "Rainfall is scarcely 100 mm (4 in) per year in the northern part of the Dead Sea and barely 50 mm (2 in) in the southern part. The Dead Sea zone's aridity is due to the rainshadow effect of the Judaean Mountains. The highlands east of the Dead Sea receive more rainfall than the Dead Sea itself. To the west of the Dead Sea, the Judaean mountains rise less steeply and are much lower than the mountains to the east." So, the aridity of the Dead Sea area is due to the rainshadow effect of the high "wall" of Judaean Mountains to the west of the Dead Sea.

About one-quarter of the way down in the first page linked below, there is a section titled Climate. Let us now consider some of the information in that section. The average high throughout the months of the year for the Dead Sea area varies between about 69 degrees F to 103 degrees F, with a potential high of 116 degrees F. The average relative humidity varies between 23% and 41%. Then, the second linked page states that the Dead Sea is located in a desert. The page also states: "The Dead Sea is located at the lowest point on earth, which is thought to be the result of volcanic processes leading to a continuous dropping of land."

When it comes to the Dead Sea environment, about half way down in the page linked below, it states: "To the west and east of the Dead Sea mountains and higher hills are common; the Judean Hills in Israel cause a rain shadow effect from the Mediterranean climate to the very arid regions around the Dead Sea. The mountainous region to the west (in Israel) receives more rainfall than reaches the Dead Sea, contributing to the falling water levels." Again, the high mountains to the west cause a rain shadow effect for the Dead Sea area. And, the higher the mountains are above the Dead Sea, the greater would be this shadow effect.

At this point, let us consider some of the important pieces of information found above. In the second paragraph (1) of this section, it mentions the low elevation of the Dead Sea area being the result of volcanic processes which cause a dropping of the land. So, there are those who appear to realize that the Dead Sea area was at a higher elevation in earlier times and has moved downwards. This goes along with what the writer has stated further above in this presentation. Then there is the matter of how fast, plus when the major portion of this "sinking" or dropping downwards occurred.

Looking again to the Holy Bible, it speaks of "all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar."(1) So, all the plain of Jordan was well watered everywhere, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. It was like the garden of the LORD, or the lush garden of Eden into which God placed Adam and Eve. Now, what happened here that caused the plain of Jordan to no longer be a plain which was well watered everywhere? What caused it to become an arid desert?

In this section, it was already noted that the rather high Judaean Mountains cause a rain shadow effect on the Dead Sea region, which would also be true for the Lower Jordan River Valley. But, there is something which needs to be noted closely. The first paragraph of this section (1) contains the following words: "The highlands east of the Dead Sea receive more rainfall than the Dead Sea itself. To the west of the Dead Sea, the Judaean mountains rise less steeply and are much lower than the mountains to the east." Now, there is even more to consider, when it comes to why the plain of Jordan is no longer well watered everywhere.

Now, let us consider what the situation could potentially be for the Lower Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea area, if the surface level of the block of land on which they reside were located 1,500 to 2,000 plus feet higher in elevation. What would the conditions upon this block of land have been like, before this block of land slid downward into the earth around the time when Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed? Would the higher elevation have helped to make this a plain which may have been well watered everywere, with possibly lush vegetation and grasslands covering the plain?

At this point, let us consider the change which could potentially occur for rainfall in the Jordan Valley, if the block of land on which the Jordan River resides were to slide downward into the earth from an elevation which was 1,500 to 2,000 plus feet higher than it is now. So, the Lower Jordan River and the Dead Sea are now in a lower-elevation desert which is hot, has low humidity and the falling rain has to fall another 1,500 to 2,000 plus feet further in these conditions before it can ever get to the floor of this desert. So, what possibly now happens to the falling rain under these conditions?

The first page linked below speaks about virga, which is rain that doesn't make it to the ground. There can be clouds with rain falling like crazy, but it just doesn't make it to the ground. The linked page states: "Virga often appears in streaks or shafts extending from the bottoms of clouds. You often see virga over a desert, where low humidity and high temperatures can cause rain to evaporate shortly after being released by clouds." And, that extra 1,500 to 2,000 plus feet of extra fall over the Jordan Valley, with hot, low humidity conditions could definitely cause rain to evaporate before it can ever reach the desert floor.

The first linked page also states: "Virga is commonly seen in the U.S. West and above the Canadian prairies, in the Middle East, Australia and North Africa." So, virga is commonly seen in the Middle East, which is where the Jordan River Valley and the Dead Sea are located. And now, looking at what the second linked page has to say, it states: "Virga is the name given to precipitation (usually rain) that evaporates or sublimes before it hits the ground. It tends to look like wispy gray streaks hanging underneath the base of a cloud." And, virga is produced in low humidity, high temperature conditions, like in the Jordan Valley.

So, what happens when rain keeps falling and converting to virga? What happens if this continues for an extended period of time? The second linked page declares: "Eventually, as more and more precipitation evaporates into the air, the air becomes moister (RH rises). If precipitation is light, it can take several hours for the air to saturate. As the air saturates first aloft, then down to the surface, a kind of "moist pathway" is carved out that precipitation can follow to the surface as rain or snow." And, in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea area, it is much too warm for the precipitation to reach the surface as snow.

Now, it is understandable why the northern Dead Sea area receives only about 4 inches or less of rain per year and the southern end receives only about 2 inches or less of rain per year (1). Most of the falling rain turns to virga and never makes it to the bottom of the geologic trough where the lower Jordan River and the Dead Sea are located. That possible 1,500 to 2,000 plus feet difference in land elevation after the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah appears to have made a big difference in things and the lower Jordan Valley is no longer a plain of lush vegetation which is well watered everywhere.

Yes, there was a great geologic change in this area which appears to have occurred in the days of Abram and his nephew named Lot, when Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed. Once again, this area around Sodom and Gomorrah was formerly a well watered plain, before the destruction. It likely had a lot of lush vegetation and especially a lot of important grass lands. It was such a choice land for flocks of sheep and herds of cattle that Lot, with his flocks and herds, when given first choice at where he wanted to reside (1), chose to reside in the well watered plain around Sodom and Gomorrah.

Let us now begin to look more closely at the nature of things which brought about the utter destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and the other wicked cities on the Jordan River plain. Let us consider the nature of that destruction which was so complete that no one can, to this day, with a 100% guarantee, identify the exact spots where Sodom and Gomorrah and the other cities were actually located. Archeologists have found evidence of cities which existed at one time in this area, but there is much controversy and various ideas about where Sodom was actually located, as indicated in the pages linked by the buttons below.

Now, there is something to note in the fifth linked page. About half way down is a section titled Interesting fact 3. Within that section are found these words: "Sankhunyaton, a Phoenician historian in his "Primitive History", writes: 'The valley of Siddim collapsed and became a lake' [op. by 7, p. 83]." This collapse of the valley, or the rapid sinking into the earth of the geologic block upon which the valley or plain resided, is what the writer of this presentation has been speaking about (1)(2)(3). This collapse or rapid sinking of a geologic block is similar to what happened at the creation of the Owens Valley in California (1).

At this point, there is something to make extremely clear. Identifying the guaranteed locations for the utterly destroyed cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, plus the other destroyed cities of the plain, is not what is important. What is important for people to understand is that God destroyed these cities because of their extreme wickedness and immorality. And, the nature of things which happened before shall happen again, in the fast approaching days ahead. So, let us begin to consider some of the factors which it appears worked in combination to bring about the utter destruction of the wicked cities of the Jordan River plain.

When God had finally had enough of the sin and wickedness of the people of Sodom and Gomorrah, the Holy Bible, once again, records: "Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven; and he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground."(1) So, the initiator for the whole destruction of the cities of the Jordan River plain, which God used, was brimstone and fire which came down from heaven. And, as noted in a page linked here, what is called "brimstone" in the Bible is that which we now call "sulfur."

Let us now begin to look at some things which can contain sulfur, which can come down from the heavens in a fiery event and slam violently into the earth, or possibly even explode some miles off ground level, with devastating effect. The introductory pages linked below speak of sulfur in things like meteors, asteroids and comets. The second linked page indicates that a lot of sulfur in the earth's mantle came from meteorites. So, there appears to be the possibility that the initiator for the utter destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah was something like a fiery meteor barrage. But, this is just the mere beginning of the story.

Once again, there were all of those tar pits in the vale of Siddim, where Sodom and Gomorrah were located. When heated to a high temperature, to the point where vapors are formed, asphalt and tar burn exceedingly well. But, this is not all. There is still more to this story. There is the Jordon River and all that water flowing into this well watered plain. So we have extreme high heat from the fiery and potentially exploding celestial barrage. We have inflammable tar vapors, plus we have the waters of the Jordan River which are able to react with the high temperature, burning tar to cause quite an inferno.

For just a minor idea of what happens when water goes into an oil fire, on just a very limited, small scale, check out the videos linked below. And then, part way down in the comments section below the first linked video, there is a comment by JFJD. This person states the following about something said in the video: "So, wait -- he's saying it's just the hot oil 'riding' the steam that causes the flareup? What about the reaction to the hydrogen/oxygen combination as the heat forces the molecular bonds apart?" This is a very good question. Under the proper conditions, things can be very different.

Now, there is something to note closely in the four videos linked above. In each video, a relatively large amount of water was suddenly dumped into the container of burning oil. And suddenly, there was a large fireball, with a lot of reddish and yellowish flames. Well, the reddish and yellowish flames tell us something about what was happening in this type of combustion process, when a relatively large amount of water, in a rather uncontrolled manner, is suddenly dumped into burning oil. As noted in the pages linked below, yellow or red flames indicate incomplete combustion and carbon monoxide generation.

Looking at the temperature scale in the page linked below, those reddish and yellowish flames, as seen in the videos linked further above, are a sign of a relatively cooler type of fire. The reddish and yellowish flames are of a fire which is cooler in temperature than flames which are white or blue. Now, at the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, God intended to fully destroy these wicked places which where given over to homosexuality and other vices. A fire with reddish or yellowish flames possibly would not produce enough heat to get the job done properly at the wicked cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.

At this point, let us consider another scenario where water is injected into an oil fire in a relatively small amount and at a much lower flow rate, in a much more controlled fashion. In the video linked below, small streams of water from spray bottles are injected into the burning oil. In this case, there is not a lot of reddish or yellowish flames. Note that the flame color is more whitish. This indicates more complete combustion, plus a higher flame temperature. Now, at the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, it appears that God really intended to incinerate and cleanse things, rather than just partially burn them.

When Sodom and Gomorrah, plus the other wicked cities of the Jordan River plain were destroyed, there is reason to suspect that God did things in a very controlled fashion. There is reason to suspect that things like fiery, sulfurous meteors came steaking in from above. Possibly some of the meteors exploded violently over the region, which produced an incredible shock wave or multiple shock waves which slammed the region and killed many of the wicked people. And then, there were the extremely intense oil/water fires which cremated all the people and animals, plus burned up everything which grew upon the ground.

Well, there is still a lot more to consider in this story about the utter destruction of wicked Sodom and Gomorrah, plus the other wicked cities of the Jordan River plain. The Jordan River was not the only water flowing into this valley. The Holy Bible states that "it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah."(1) There were a number of other springs in the area, with water possibly flowing down from the mere hills which then were on both sides of the Jordan River Valley. A large portion of this water possibly factored into the oil/water cremation and incineration scenario.

Now, there is reason to suspect that prior to the incineration and utter destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and the other wicked cities, there were large petroleum reservoirs which existed beneath the Jordan River Valley. So, why would the writer suspect this? Once again, the Holy Bible declares that prior to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and the other cities, "the vale of Siddim was full of slimepits."(1) And, that which was called "slime" in these pits was basically asphalt or bitumen or tar. Furthermore, asphalt or tar pits are commonly associated with crude oil or petroleum reservoirs.

The page linked below declares: "Tar pits, sometimes referred to as asphalt pits, are large asphalt deposits. They form in the presence of oil, which is created when decayed organic matter is subjected to pressure underground. If this crude oil seeps upward via fractures, conduits, or porous sedimentary rock layers, it may pool up at the surface. The lighter components of the crude oil evaporate into the atmosphere, leaving behind a black, sticky asphalt." The page also states: "Tar pits form above oil reserves..." Well, the page only speaks about tar pits and oil reservoirs in "anticlinal traps." But, there is more to this story.

Before we look at oil reservoirs in other settings beside "anticlinal traps," let us note a few more things from the linked page which may be of interest to those who are new to this subject. The page linked below goes on to state: "Tar pits are pools of asphalt. However, at the beginning of their formation, they were not always sticky and dense. The pools were composed of crude oil that originated below Earth's surface." Then it speaks about crude oil being a mixture of various things. It also speaks about crude oil containing a lot of light hyrocarbons of lower molecular weights.

Once the crude oil travels from the reservoir to the ground surface, it pools on the surface. Once pooled on the surface of the ground, something happens to the lighter molecular weight hydrocarbons in the mixture. The linked page states: "At the surface, these light molecules may evaporate out of the crude oil, leaving behind the heavier, stickier molecules." The page goes on to state: "Evaporation is an important process in the formation of tar pits. A reservoir of light crude oil on Earth's surface can be reduced by up to 75% of the initial volume just after a few days, forming asphalt as the resulting product."

The page linked above also speaks about some tar pits in the state of California, USA. It notes the La Brea Tar Pits in southern California. The page states: "The petroleum that is seen on the surface is sourced from the Salt Lake Oil Field reservoir and the oil sands in the Repetto and Pico formations." It goes on to state: "The 6th Street Fault that cuts through the Salt Lake Oil Field is the conduit that feeds the La Brea Tar Pits." By the way, there is reason to suspect that the oil in this region will be involved in the fiery judgment upon the wicked of this area, which fiery judgment is spoken about in the Holy Bible, as we shall soon see.

The page linked above also speaks about the Carpinteria Tar Pits in California. These tar pits are also located in southern California. A page linked here states: "Most of the tar pits are located along a short stretch directly on the beach and generate from the underlying Carpinteria Offshore Oil Field." The preceding linked page also speaks about the McKittrick Tar Pits (1) of California. And, research shows that there is an incredible amount of petroleum in underground reservoirs in California, both onshore and offshore. There is a lot of oil in place for use in the coming judgment and fiery inferno in this area.

The writer could go on and on about the fiery judgment which is coming to the wicked people in the state of California in the days ahead, as there are those numerous people who have refused to learn the important lessons from what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah. They have their parades and get-togethers where they celebrate and revel in their Sodom and Gomorrah type activities, while they basically "thumb their noses" at the Most High God of heaven. Yes, they will do this, but only for a determined period of time. And then comes the fiery end, even for those many sodomizing and child-raping, Jesuit/Catholic priests (1)(2).

Now, the page linked by the large button above mainly spoke about petroleum reservoirs in "anticlinal traps," but there is another setting where petroleum reservoirs can be found, which really needs to be explored. The other setting for petroleum reservoirs considered in the next section more closely matches the setting which exists in the region formerly inhabited by the wicked people of Sodom and Gomorrah, plus the other wicked cities of the Jordan River Plain. Now, further above (1) in this presentation it speaks about a geologic graben existing in the area of the Dead Sea.

The introductory pages linked below speak about oil deposits in graben regions. The first linked page speaks about "commercially viable oil deposits in the Albertine Graben region" which were discovered by Uganda. The second linked page states: "The winding road through the western rift valley in Kikuube District leads to a major oil field." Then, the third linked page looks elsewhere, to the Norwegian Central Graben. This graben "is the cradle of the Norwegian oil industry."

The first page linked below speaks of the Northern Taranaki graben in New Zealand. It states: "The Taranaki basin...produces from several oil and gas fields" and it "has been the backbone of New Zealand petroleum production for 30 years." The second linked page speaks about the Central Graben of the North Sea. It appears that is also contains a lot of oil and gas. The third linked page speaks about the Northern Upper Rhine Graben continental rift. There is oil and gas also associated with this graben.

The first page linked below speaks about the petroleum producing Euphrates Graben System. The 1998 page states: "Approximately 30 oil fields have been discovered in the Euphrates graben system since 1984." The second linked page looks at high-pressure high-temperature (HPHT) oil fields in the Central Graben of the UK North Sea. The third linked page notes the oil and gas which appears to possibly be associated with the Mazenga Graben and the Mozambique basin, which geologic features are associated with the East African Rift System.

The first page linked below also speaks about the crude oil which is associated with the Euphrates Graben Petroleum System. And, as the people of this world should already know, there is a lot of oil and gas in the Arabian region which is associated with this graben. Then, the second linked page speaks of the large amount of oil and gas which are associated with the Danish Central Graben. The third linked page speaks about the oil and gas, plus oil shales which are associated with the North Sea Graben Province. It states: "Extensional tectonics and failed rifting are fundamental to the distribution of oil and gas in the province."

The first page linked below speaks about oil associated with the North Viking Graben, while the second linked page relates to a book about the oil and gas associated with the South Viking Graben in the North Sea. Then, the third linked page speaks about oil-bearing sandstones associated with the Witch Ground Graben in the North Sea. The sandstones "form the reservoirs in 14 fields that originally contained 2 billion bbl of oil reserves." By now, it should be obvious that oil and gas reservoirs are commonly associated with geologic grabens. And, there is that graben associated with the Jordan River Valley.

The first page linked below speaks about a 3 mile wide by 24 mile long graben near Queensland, Australia, which appears to have a lot of oil within the associated shale deposits. The second linked page also speaks about commercial oil deposits and oil/gas seeps which are associated with the Upper Rhine graben in France. The third linked page declares: "Along the eastern seaboard of Queensland, differential subsidence caused by isostatic re‐adjustment produced a number of early Tertiary fault‐bound basins that contain oil shale deposits. The Lowmead Graben contains one of these deposits."

Well, seeing that large-scale oil deposits are commonly associated with geologic grabens, there truly is more to consider when it comes to that geologic graben in the Dead Sea and Jordan Valley area. Since the vale of Siddim was full of slimepits in ancient times, and those slimepits or asphalt pits are associated with oil deposits, there is good reason to suspect that there should be, or at least was at one point, a very large reservoir of oil beneath this area.

The page from 1927 which is linked below, which was initially created before Israel once again became a nation in 1948, begins with these words: "The presence of asphalt and oil showings in the vicinity of the Dead Sea and near Hasbeya, west of Mount Hermon, has long been known; and these, together with the asphalt-rock occurrences, have led many to believe commercial oil deposits might be found in Palestine." But, note how the page rejects the idea that the asphalt-rock is related to oil. Well, the page does speak about "thirty-seven structural domes which might act as traps for oil and gas."

Looking further into the linked page from 1927, it states: "Promising domes occur in Palestine west of the Jordan and the Dead Sea." It also states: "From the Jordan and the Dead Sea eastward to the Hedjaz Railway, because of the basalt intrusions and exposure of lower beds by uplift, there is very little promise, though some folds are probable in this area." When it comes to the Sinai Peninsula, the page states: "There are eight possible oil horizons, half of which have a good chance to produce." And, once again, the information in the linked page comes from 1927.

After Israel became a nation in 1948, things got more serious about looking for oil in the Dead Sea area. The page from 1953 which is linked below states: "Seven oil companies from the U.S., Canada, Panama and Israel are poised to commence drilling operation near the Dead Sea and in other sections of Israel..." So, the oil exploration in the Dead Sea area and in other places in Israel began to pick up in 1953. The page actually names the oil companies which were involved with this earlier oil exploration.

The first page linked below is from 1959. It speaks about a "very rich" gas well which was drilled just west of the Dead Sea. The 1959 page also states that "oil in the Heletz area...now produces about 120, 000 tons of oil annually, some 10 percent of Israel's consumption." Then, the second linked page is from 1963. It speaks about some gas fields "to the west of the faults bounding the Dead Sea valley." These particular gas wells display "sub-normal pressures," while a couple of other wells in the area "failed to give production."

The page linked below is from 1980. It states: "Solid, liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons occur throughout the Dead Sea Basin (Israel and Jordan) both in surface exposures and in drillings. The unaltered asphalts and heavy oils are characterized by very high sulfur content..." Well, there is now something to think about. Is there a chance that the high sulfur content may have something to do with God severely pounding this area with brimstone [sulfur] and fire out of heaven, when he utterly destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, plus the other wicked cities in this region, and cremated their inhabitants?

The page notes the ozokerite (composed primarily of long chain n-paraffins) which is found only on the east side of the basin. It also states: "The gases known from the southern margin of the basin are composed mostly of methane." Then it states: "The source for the bitumens is unknown. Two hypotheses are discussed. The first is that the asphalts and heavy oils represent an alteration products of crude oil which migrated into the basin or which might have been generated in the basin itself. The second hypothesis favors an origin from low temperature alteration of organic matter from a thermally immature source."

The 1983 page linked below comes to us from the U.S. Department of Energy. It states: "The Dead Sea Rift is one of the world's unique geologic and topographic features, whose petroleum potential has not yet been evaluated. The sector of the Dead Sea is an asymmetric graben 20 km (12 mi) from rim to rim and over 120 km (75 mi) long. The total throw from the west rim, where the Upper Cretaceous crops out to the deeper portion of the grabens, is more than 8 km (26,200 ft). Throw on the eastern side is considerably greater as the valley wall is largely Precambrian."

The linked page also states: "Asphalt blocks floating from the Dead Sea, along with asphalt and heavy oil seeps in the valley, have been known since biblical times. These are suggestive of leaks from deeper accumulations. Although some exploration drilling has been done, no test has yet reached objectives in the deeper sunken block where the Miocene is figured to be at a depth of at least 7 km (23,000 ft.)" So, the asphalt and heavy oil in this area has been known since ancient times. And, there is reason to suspect that there is, or at least was at one time, accumulations of petroleum beneath this area.

The three pages linked below are from the latter part of 2006. The first page speaks about oil being struck at a site north of the Dead Sea at a depth of 1,800 meters (or about 5,905 feet or a bit over one-mile down). The page states: "According to estimates, there are about 6.5 million barrels of crude oil, worth about USD 300 million." The second linked page states: "The media is reporting the discovery of oil near the Dead Sea. Expected yield is very low, but it raises hopes that there might be more in the area." Yes, they are finding a little oil, but where is the rest of it?

The video linked by the button below was posted in 2015. But, it is actually from a 2006 AP Television News presentation. Yes, some people have high hopes of finding a lot of oil in the Dead Sea area. It appears that there are signs that there should be, or at least at one time was, a large quantity of oil beneath this area. But, where is it? Or, where did it go? What happened to it?

Well, especially since they are having such a hard time finding much oil in this area, there is something to consider. Is there a chance that a large share of the oil which formerly resided beneath this area was used up in the oil/water-fire (1) incineration process which destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah and the wicked cities of the plain, plus cremated their inhabitants, as the geologic graben sunk into the earth?

Now moving onward, the page linked below is from 2009. It speaks of "seismic surveys that estimate that Dead Sea oil reserves are worth nearly half a billion dollars." So, "the signs" are there. The page also mentions Yitzchak Tshuva, who heads an oil drilling consortium "that found billions of dollars in natural gas off the Haifa coast" under the Mediterranean Sea. The consortium was prepared, in October of 2009, to begin exploring for oil "in an area along the Dead Sea."

The December 2015 page linked below states: "Following its middle Miocene inception, numerous basins of varying lengths and depths developed along the Dead Sea fault zone, a large continental transform plate boundary. The modern day left-lateral fault zone has an accumulated left-lateral offset of 105 to 110 km (65 to 68 mi). The deepest basin along the fault zone, the Lake Lisan or Dead Sea basin, reaches depths of 7.5 to 8.5 km (24,500 ft to 28,000 ft), and shows evidence of hydrocarbons."

And then, the page states something very interesting. It declares: "The basins are compartmentalized by normal faulting associated with rapid basin subsidence...." Yes, the signs are there which appear to indicate that there was "rapid basin subsidence." There is reason to suspect that this rapid basin subsidence took place when God, as he heavily judged Sodom and Gomorrah and the other wicked cities of the plain, rapidly converted the well-watered plain into a sunken hell hole and incinerating inferno.

The pages linked below are all from May of 2016. The first page speaks of "a natural oil reserve near the Dead Sea [which] may contain up to 11 million barrels of oil worth an estimated 1.2 billion shekels ($320 million)." The page speaks of "drilling more than two decades ago [which] produced oil from the reservoir." A drilling company had "discovered oil 2 kilometers (approximately 4 miles) below the surface in 1995." But, they did not develop the reserve "because of low oil prices."

The second and remaining linked pages all speak of the revival of "an old oil well near the Dead Sea." This old oil well which was first drill in 1995 is believed to hold an oil reserve worth NIS 1.2 billion or $322 million USD, and "contains between 7-11 million barrels of oil." And, the new drilling was "slated to begin by November 1, 2017."(1) So, what then actually became of this new, very publicized effort to exploit the old oil well, once the drilling began? Well, it seems that things went quiet after the 2016 publicity.

Well, all the signs indicated that there is, or at least at some time was, a lot of oil beneath the Dead Sea region. But, it appears that no one has been able to find out where all that oil disappeared to. Once again, there is reason to suspect that the large share of the oil reservoirs which formly existed under the Jordan River Valley where used up in the fiery inferno and cremation which occurred at the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, plus the other wicked cities of the plain.

Now, the document linked below is from 2019. It states: "The drilling activity in onshore Israel is significant with over 500 wells drilled. Petroleum geologic studies have been numerous on the organic geochemistry of the hydrocarbons discovered. Unlike the highly productive Mesozoic rocks of the Tethys Sea to the east, insignificant quantities of petroleum has been discovered." On PDF page 4 of 45, the document states: "The Dead Sea demonstrates extreme subsidence rates..."

The linked document continues with these words: "When comparisons are made to basins in North America, Mexico, Cuba, and Bahamas...the Dead Sea is over 5 times greater in respect to subsidence rates." From what is shown in the document, it appears that at least certain people believe that in the Dead Sea area, they are going to have to drill much deeper and go after those ultra-deep, sub-salt hydrocarbon reserves.

Looking into things further regarding the Dead Sea Rift Zone (DSR), the linked document, on PDF page 5 of 45, declares: "In USGS estimates, the DSR contains, based on geophysical data, 6 km of basin fill with 4 km of pre-basin sedimentary rocks below it." At the bottom of that page, it states: "The deepest well drilled in the DSR is the Sedom-1 to a depth of 21,156 ft (6450 m) near the master-faults of the western southern DSR. Seismic profiles suggest the well drilled sub-salt bottomed in Miocene age rocks, basin fill."

In the Conclusions on PDF page 6 of 45, when it comes to oil and gas in the Dead Sea Rift Zone, the linked page declares: "The oil and gas windows may be difficult to calculate due to the extremely rapid burial and subsidence..." Note closely those words, "extremely rapid burial and subsidence." And, it should be noted that the writer of this presentation does not buy the time-scale declared by the often-blindsided and erroneous scientists. Now, the Conclusions also speaks about "the presence of sulfur and pyrite suggesting thermochemical reactions."

When all of the above information is considered --- the presence of sulfur, thermochemical reactions, rapid burial and subsidence --- there is reason to suspect that all of this happened when God rained down brimstone [sulfur] and fire from heaven, possibly in the form of meteors or asteroids, onto the wicked cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, plus the other wicked cities of the plain. And, in this whole cataclysm, the Jordan Valley graben appears to have also sunk and released a lot of oil into the incinerating inferno.

Well, there is reason to suspect that the controversy about what exactly happened in the destruction of the wicked cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, plus the other wicked cities of the Jordan River plain, will rage on for many years. And, there is reason to suspect that, with all the signs which may indicate the potential for a lot of oil in the Dead Sea region, the exploration will go on for many more years, while possibly producing, at best, a number of relatively low-producing oil wells.

And now, let us not waste any more time on speculation about Sodom and Gomorrah, plus on the former oil reserves. It is not of utmost importance to figure out exactly what happened to them. But, there is one thing we know for sure. These wicked cities are gone. They were utterly destroyed in an inferno. So, let us now turn to consider some important things from the Holy Bible, that we may obtain a better picture about what it appears is coming in the days ahead, possibly in the lifetime of many alive today.

When the Lord Jesus Christ walked upon this earth about two thousand years ago, he proclaimed many important things. And then, at one point, Christ sent out his disciples to the various cities in Israel to heal the people and to cast devils out of them (1). The disciples were also to proclaim the truth about the kingdom of God. And then, at that time, Christ declared the following words to his disciples:

"And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city."(1)(2)(3) When this earth is judged in the days ahead, the utter destruction of those who have rejected the true way of God and Christ shall be incredible. Their destruction shall be worse than what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah.

As Christ spoke the truth about the kingdom of God to the people of Israel, he proclaimed the following about one of their cities: "And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee."(1)

If the mighty works and miracles which were done by Christ in Israel had been done in Sodom, the people of that wicked city would have listened to what Christ had to say about the kingdom of God and would have repented and turned to the true way of God. And, that city of Sodom would not then have been destroyed, but would still be in existence, hopefully with godly people. And truly, the severe judgment and destruction which is coming upon this earth will be incredible indeed, as we shall soon see.

What are some of the signs which the Lord Jesus Christ proclaimed, which indicate the nearness of the end of the world and the utter destruction of the wicked? Well, at one point, Christ declared the following:

"And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed."(1)

So, what were things like in the days of Noe --- or in the days of Noah --- before he entered into the ark, at which point the flood came and destroyed all the wicked? What were things like in the days of that man named Lot, before he went out of Sodom, at which point it rained fire and brimstone out of heaven upon them and destroyed all of the wicked people? What were things like in these two situations, before the judgment and destruction of the wicked occurred? We need to know the answer, because the same things will be happening at the time when Christ judges this earth and destroys its wicked people.

When it comes to what things were like in the days of Noah, the Holy Bible declares: "And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD."(1)

In the days of Noah, the people had given themselves over to doing wickedness and evil continually. Regarding what things were like in the days of Noah, it is written: "The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth."(1) Yes, in the days of Noah, the people had utterly corrupted themselves and the earth was fill with their violence, just as it is today. So, one of the two signs about how things will be just prior to the return of Christ, plus just before the end of the world, is here today.

Well, what were things like in the days of that man named Lot? Yes, "the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly."(1) They were sodomites. They were homosexuals. They were completely given to their animalistic lusts, just like those reprobate (1) Jesuit/Catholic priests who are sodomizing and raping numerous boys around virtually the whole world today (1)(2). And, it is likely that the women of Sodom and Gomorrah and the other wicked cities of the Jordan River plain were having sex with each other, just as things are today. So, both signs which Christ spoke about are here today.

There is another sign given in the Holy Bible to consider. It is written: "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not."(1) Wow! That is exactly how things are today!

This is also written: "Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ."(1) And yes, there are many today who have turned the grace of God into lasciviousness (1)(2), as they deny or reject the true way of God and Christ.

The Holy Bible goes on to declare: "I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire."(1)

In the Holy Bible, it is also written: "For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; and spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; and delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: (for that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished..."(1)

In the quote above, note that the man named Lot was daily vexed in his righteous soul by the wicked things which he was seeing and hearing, which the people in his area were doing. Yes, he was greatly troubled by what he saw and heard. And for those of you today who are troubled by the corruption, wickedness, violence, and homosexual activity which is openly going on today, the following words from the Holy Bible are written to you: "And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power..."(1)

Yes, the Lord Jesus Christ shall be revealed from heaven in flaming fire. He will be taking fiery vengeance on all those who do not really know God, plus on all those that do not obey the authentic gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. And yes, its shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for the wicked people of our day who reject the way of God and Christ. The people of Sodom and Gomorrah did not have the Holy Bible to show them the true way, and which Holy Bible condemns the wrong way. But those of today have the Holy Bible available, with all of its examples, so they are without any excuse.

In the Holy Bible, it is written: "This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: that ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation."(1) And, that is exactly as things are today!

Concerning these scoffers, the Holy Bible goes on to declare: "For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: but the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men."(1) And, those ungodly men also includes all of those many sodomizing and child-raping priests (1)(2) and their many facilitators, which appears to include even the pope and his many allies.

The Holy Bible also states: "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?"(1)

Regarding the fast-approaching day of judgment, it is written: "And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; and the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places."(1) Yes, in the days ahead, a mighty barrage of stars shall fall shall fall from heaven and crash into the earth, and every mountain and island shall be moved out of their places. It shall be like the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, on a worldclass scale.

For those who are not familiar with the Holy Bible, what are these stars which are going to be crashing into the earth in the fast-approaching days ahead? Well, in the Holy Bible, it only speaks about the sun, moon and stars. If something seen in the sky, day or night, is not the sun or the moon, the Bible simply classifies it as a star. These stars include things like meteors and asteroids and comets. It will be things like meteors and asteroids, plus potentially even comets, which will come crashing into the earth, in a mighty barrage, in the fast-approaching days ahead. And, "the elements shall melt with fervent heat."

So, what will the misguided elite and rulers be doing when all of this begins to happen? Concerning them, it is written: "And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; and said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: for the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"(1) Those who have been misguiding the people shall be looking for a place to hide, but in vain.

It is also written: "Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth. And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake. The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again."(1)

And again, it is written in the Holy Bible: "Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth."(1) Yes, those things which happened to wicked Sodom and Gomorrah, plus the other wicked cities of the Jordan River plain, are examples to us about that which is soon coming upon the wicked of this whole earth. There is reason to suspect that it will happen in the lifetime of many or most who are alive today.

Now is the acceptable time to repent and turn from any wicked ways. Now is the acceptable time to also stop supporting any of those sodomizing or child-raping priests (1)(2) and their ungodly facilitators, or their allies. Now is the acceptable time to turn and truly walk in the authentic way of God and Christ, that you may be spared and saved in that fast-approaching day of fiery judgment upon the wicked of this whole earth.

Well, the story about very incredible things which shall be happening in the Jordan River region, plus in Israel, is not finished. Based on that which is stated in the Holy Bible, it appears that quite the geologic activity will be happening there in the days ahead, possibly even in the lifetime of many people alive today. Regarding these things, in the Holy Bible the following is clearly written:

"Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
          Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south."(1)

Now, the story does not end with the Mount of Olive splitting in half, with one half moving a distance to the north, while the other half moves a distance to the south, which then forms that great east-west aligned valley. It is also written: "And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one."(1)

There is reason to suspect that the splitting apart of the Mount of Olives and the creation of that very great, east-west aligned valley, plus the waters which shall be flowing out from Jerusalem, shall all occur after that time in the days ahead when the Vatican and surrounding Rome are utterly destroyed, never to be found or inhabited again. Concerning further, incredible geologic activity which shall be taking place in Israel in the days ahead, it is written: "All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses. And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited."(1)
