"A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this. When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever: but thou, LORD, art most high for evermore."   (Psalms 92:6-8)

Signs  and  Events

Let us now return to the main topic of this discussion. What are some of the signs and geologic events leading up to the return of Christ? What are some of the signs which signal that the end of the world is almost here? The uncorrupted Holy Bible does speak clearly about these signs.

The Lord Jesus Christ declared: "And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows." (Matthew 24:6-8)

Again, it is written: "And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven." (Luke 21:11)

A  Time  to  Consider

The above passages from the uncorrupted Holy Bible speak of wars and rumors of wars. They speak of nation rising against nation and kingdom against kingdom. Is this happening in the world in which we now live? The Scriptures speak of famines and pestilences. Are these things now happening in various places in our world? Is there talk about coming food shortages in our world, possibly even in the United States?

FAMINE  &  HUNGER

DISEASE

There were dangerous and deadly diseases which not that long ago were fairly well eradicated from the advance countries like the United State. But now, in this time of much illegal immigration, it appears that a number of these diseases are making a comeback. Check out the pages linked below and become informed.

At this point, it should be noted that much of the imported disease appears to be coming from countries which ultimately appear to be under the control of the Vatican/Jesuit organization. There are some who have studied the history carefully who call the illegal invasion of the United States, along with the disease it brings, Rome's war against the authentic United States.

NATURAL  and  NUCLEAR

Over time, there have been many health issues, injuries and deaths which have resulted from natural disasters and nuclear emergencies. A small sampling of information relating to these types of issues is found in the pages linked below.

Further  Consideration

Now, for a more complete picture. In addition to all that is mentioned above, the uncorrupted Holy Bible also speaks of great earthquakes occurring in divers places. Does any of this sound familiar? Does any of this sound like those things which are beginning to commonly occur in our day? Are we entering the tribulation: that time of great trouble?

Important  Signs

Once again, there is an important question to ask. What are some other important indicators to the imminent return of Christ and the nearness to the end of the world? Again, the uncorrupted Holy Bible does not leave us without an answer.

The Lord Jesus Christ proclaimed: "And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
"Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed."
(Luke 17:26-30)

In the days of Noe (Noah), the people had corrupted themselves and the earth was filled with violence. (see: Genesis 6:11-12) In the days of Lot, homosexuality was prevalent. The people in Lot's day even acted arrogantly about their homosexuality and wanted to force it on others. (see: Genesis 13:13 & 18:20-21 & 19:4-9) As declared by the Lord Jesus Christ, so shall it be before the coming of Christ, and the end of the world. So it is, in our day.

Violence

Once again, in the days of Noah, the earth was filled with violence. We often think of violence as something physical. But let us consider another form of violence, shown in the following passage from the Holy Bible.

It is written: "Her prophets are light and treacherous persons: her priests have polluted the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law." (Zephaniah 3:4)

Indeed, the priests and the prophets did violence to the law. In other words, they transgressed against the true, eternal laws of God. They refused to obey the true way of God. Instead, they corruptly made a different way for themselves and led the people into rebellion against God. They led the people into a way which was more appealing and pleasing to the flesh and its lusts. But it was a way which led to eternal destruction.

In regards to violence, throughout this discussion series has been presented a more complete perspective on the issue of violence, as viewed from the eyes of God. After considering what all is considered as violence, in God's eyes, does violence now fill our world?

A Sign of the End

The uncorrupted Holy Bible notes many signs which will appear on this earth, as we approach the final end of this world. The writer has seen one sure sign in the Scriptures which occurs when the end is extremely close. It is time to consider the meaning of certain passages of Scripture.

Let us begin with the book of Revelation, chapter 17. This chapter contains a lot of symbology. It speaks about the great whore which sits on many waters (verse 1), "with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication (verse 2)." This great whore is "arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls (verse 4)."

The great whore is spiritually called: "Babylon the Great, the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth (verse 5)." The great whore is "drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus (verse 6)." The symbology describing the great whore speaks of seven mountains on which she sits (verse 9).

The passage of Scripture then begins to clarify some of the things which it is actually speaking about or describing. It states: "The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues (verse 15)." From this, we are to understand that the one whom God sees as the great whore has power over peoples and nations. The great whore is a great power and controlling force upon this earth, even now.

Then things begin to get very clear, regarding this great whore whom the uncorrupted Holy Bible is speaking about. The Scripture states: "And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth (verse 18)." At this point, we need to ask only one question. What city was ruling over the kings of the earth at the time when this prophecy was made, about 2,000 years ago? To those who have studied history, the answer should be easy.

Rome was ruling over the kings of the earth, at least the ones which would have been known by the individual who received the vision recorded in Revelation. Around the time of Christ, Rome was also in control of Israel. And the woman? It has historically been indicated that the symbology used here is speaking of a church.

For centuries, it has been understood by many that this passage of Scripture, about the great whore and Babylon, is speaking about a church in Rome. In the minds of many, Revelation chapter 17 is speaking about the Roman Catholic Church. This should be made clear through the sampling of pages linked below.

At this point, there is another passage of Scripture to consider. It is written: "And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird." (Revelation 18:1-18:2)

What is quoted quoted above makes a lot of sense, especially when considering those numerous reprobate and deceiving or lying priests who are raping little boys and girls (1)(2), while they follow in the ways of, and do the practices of, ancient Baal worship. So, what more really needs to be said. The actions of these priests should reveal what we are really dealing with, when it comes to this organization which is fallen away from the true way of Christ and God.

With this rather abbreviated introduction, it is time to briefly consider chapter 18, of the book of Revelation. It is good for all to read chapters 17 and 18 of the book of Revelation and see for themselves what is said about this church, which is often called spiritual Babylon. But at this time, the writer will only note those things which reveal a sign at the closing moments of the world. Rome has called itself the Eternal City. But we shall soon find that it is not eternal at all.

Of Rome and the Catholic Church, the Revelation, in chapter 18, indicates that her plagues shall come "in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her (verse 8)." The people of the earth "shall see the smoke of her burning (verse 9)." As God performs his judgment on Rome, and his destruction of it, his word proclaims: "Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her (verse 20)." But, there is more to this prophecy.

The Revelation continues with the following words:

"And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee; and the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth (verses 21-24)."

Revelation, chapter 19 declares: "And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, 'Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: for true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.' And again they said, 'Alleluia.' And her smoke rose up for ever and ever (verses 1-3)."

Yes, God shall utterly destroy Rome, shortly before the final end of the world. It appears there may be roughly 5-million-plus people in the vicinity of Rome who will be destroyed, incinerated or vaporized. This will be a sure sign for all to see and understand that humanity is now standing before the gates of eternity, plus the utter end of the world. They shall now be facing their horrendous judgment from God. All will see it with their own eyes in the days ahead.

As the uncorrupted Holy Bible clearly indicates, the smoke from the destruction of Rome shall rise up forever and ever. And, after its destruction, Rome shall never be rebuilt or inhabited again. There is more detail written about this destruction of Rome, especially from a geologic perspective, in a page linked here. The page is aptly titled The Final Destruction of Rome.
