Hanford  Nuclear  Reservation ?






There are some things which should be considered about the so-called Vitrification Plant which is being built at the old Hanford Nuclear Reservation site, along the Columbia River in the state of Washington. This claimed nuclear waste processing plant is way past its originally stated completion and start date. Furthermore, anyone working on the site who has spoken out about problems with this facility has been lambasted and/or fired (1)(2)(3)(4)(5).

Well, since they are way beyond the originally declared completion and start date, and because it appears that there have been so many problems with this highly suspect facility, there are some questions which should be asked. Is this facility which they have been building actually for processing all of that nuclear waste in those 177 underground storage tanks? Or, on the other hand, is this facility actually designed and built for another use?

A  FEW  DETAILS

The page linked below is from 2011. Regarding the Vitrification Plant (or Waste Treatment Plant - WTP) which "they" have been building for a long time at the old Hanford Nuclear Reservation site in Washington state, the page declares: "Originally, the complex was supposed to start glassifying wastes in 1999. In 2002, its design and construction budget was $4 billion." But, the completion date keeps changing at the Hanford site, plus the cost keeps skyrocketing.

Well, it's time to see "the game" which those in control of the Vitrification Plant construction project have been playing on the citizens of the United States. The linked page states: "But the price tag of $4 billion in 2002 grew to $12.3 billion by early 2006 and stayed steady until November when $13.2 billion became the potential new figure." So, in less than 4 years, the price tag for this highly questionable facility suddenly blossomed to $12.3 billion, or more that three times the originally set price. And, the price keeps going up.


So, why are they having so many problems with the Hanford Vitrification Plant? Is the vitrification of nuclear wastes such a new thing that no one really knows how to do it yet? Well, in answer to the preceding question, the page linked below, which is from 2019, states that vitrification of "high level" nuclear waste (HLW) has been going on "for over 40 years in most countries that have a nuclear power program, including France, Germany, Belgium, Russia, UK, Japan, and the USA." So, what is the problem with Hanford?







LOOKING  CLOSER  AT  HANFORD

The page linked below is from 2013. It states that "the DOE has watched its prime contractor on the site, Bechtel, grossly overcharge the American public for a waste-treatment plant so poorly built that, once it's finished (if it ever gets finished), feeding nuclear material through it could cause a catastrophe." Furthermore, the page states that "nuclear scientist Donald H. Alexander, formerly of the DOE, likened Hanford to the doomed 1986 Challenger mission, a disaster arising from an excess of confidence."


The page linked below is from 2011. Concerning the Waste Treatment Plant (WTP), the page states: "But parts of the plant still face risks of bursting into flames, exploding or triggering uncontrolled nuclear-chain reactions, according to project documents, interviews and formal critiques by scientists at other federal agencies. The government's own tests show that equipment may fail or pipes may clog in areas of the plant so hot with nuclear waste that no human or machine could ever get in and make repairs."

Well, when you are working with a lot of dangerous nuclear waste, things bursting into flames does not sound very good. Neither does things exploding. But then, there are those uncontrolled nuclear-chain reactions! That is basically what happens when a nuclear bomb explodes. Something just does not look quite right here. At least to the writer, it appears that the Waste Treatment Plant is not actually designed to do the job which they have been claiming that it is being built for.







INFERIOR  COMPONENTS  USED

The 2012 page linked below speaks about the concerns of Don Alexander relating to the Hanford Waste Treatment Plant. This man was a top scientist with the U.S. Department of Energy. Alexander worried about the pipes and vessels in the plant. The page states: "The pipes are made of stainless steel metal. But he [Alexander] says that metal just isn't tough enough to withstand this toxic radioactive gunk for 40 years without any maintenance." And, the area where the pipes are located in the facility, once plant operation begins, will be too radioactively hot for humans to enter and make repairs.


The page linked below, from 2012, states that "the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board, DNFSB, has rung an alarm bell about the ability of the plant's stainless steel piping, process vessels, and pulse jet mixers to withstand the erosion and corrosion of the radioactive waste during the 40-year life of the facility." The page states that Bechtel did some experimental testing on components, but "the scope of that testing was limited and the results were flawed."


The 2012 page linked below shows that tanks installed in the the "black cells" area of the very critical Hanford Waste Treatment Plant did not meet requirements. The page speaks about 10 missing documents about welds on two different tanks. And, to make matters worse, "the agency had paid the contractor a $15 million incentive fee for production of a tank that was later determined to be defective and, while it demanded the fee be returned, never followed up to ensure that it was."







SERIOUS  DESIGN  PROBLEMS

The page linked below is also from 2012. It, too, speaks about problems at the Hanford Waste Treatment Plant. It states that "several senior engineers cited design problems that could bring the plant's operations to a halt before much of the waste is treated." The page also speaks "about the risk of a hydrogen explosion or uncontrolled nuclear reaction inside the plant." And again, those uncontrolled nuclear reactions are what happens when a nuclear bomb devastatingly explodes.

The linked page states that "the Energy Department's independent oversight office notified Bechtel that it is investigating "potential nuclear safety non-compliances" in the design and installation of plant systems and components. And the department's inspector general is in the final stages of a separate probe focused on whether Bechtel installed critical equipment that didn't meet quality-control standards." So, there are serious problems in the very design of critical plant systems and components in this dangerous facility.

Something is definitely wrong with this whole picture. If the installed systems are substandard and would possibly not work for processing the nuclear waste in those 177 underground storage tanks, or if there could be an uncontrolled nuclear reaction if they attempted to process the waste, then for what purpose are they actually building this plant? Is there a chance than it is actually being built for a completely different purpose than the U.S. Department of Energy has been claiming all along, for all these many years?


The page linked below, which speaks about an audit of the Hanford vitrification or Waste Treatment Plant, is from 2013. It states: "The audit said contractor Bechtel National Inc. was required to ensure the vitrification process is safe for workers, the public and the environment, but failed to do that in the design change process." The page states that "Bechtel was missing design control documentation on the plant and could not demonstrate that some equipment was properly manufactured."







LOOKING  EVEN  DEEPER

Well, let us look deeper into what has been going on at the Hanford Waste Treatment Plant (WTP). The page linked below is from 2015. It speaks about a 2014 report by a team of nuclear waste experts. They found that the WTP was "riddled with 362 'significant design vulnerabilities' that could affect safety and future operations." The page states: "The team, for example, found that an O-ring designed to seal 1,250-degree gases would fail at 250 degrees." And, that is just one of the dangerous problems found.


The 2015 page linked below declares: "A nearly completed government facility intended to treat the radioactive byproducts of nuclear weapons production is riddled with design flaws that could put the entire operation at risk of failure, according to a leaked internal report." The page goes on to state: "Unless resolved in a timely manner, these vulnerabilities are expected to result in unacceptable risk to the overall project mission." And, the unacceptable risk may include a deadly and devastating, area-destroying, uncontrolled nuclear reaction, with harmful nuclear waste spread across the country.

The linked page also states: "'[The Energy Department] has proven to be incapable of managing a project of this magnitude and importance,' Alvarez said. 'The agency has shown a long-standing intolerance for whistleblowers while conducting faith-based management of its contractors regardless of poor performance.'" Well, the DOE may not tolerate whistleblowers, especially if the facility is actually being secretly built for a less critical use than handling high-level nuclear waste. In such a case, they wouldn't want whistleblowers causing an investigation.







A  DANGER  STILL  EXISTS

Now, the page linked below is from 2017. It appears that things have not really improved over the years at the questionable Hanford plant. The page states: "The Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board says the Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant (WTP) could explode or cause an uncontrolled nuclear chain reaction. In both cases, dangerous levels of radioactivity would likely contaminate the Columbia River, the Tri-Cities and big swaths of productive agricultural land."


The page linked below is from 2018. It starts with these words: "Problems first identified six years ago continue to plague the multi-billion-dollar Hanford vitrification plant that would be used to treat some of the nation's deadliest nuclear waste." The page also speaks about the Government Accountability Office report which stated "that the site's contractor, Bechtel National, has not fully completed planned corrections, and the corrections it has made have not prevented continuing quality assurance problems."


The page linked below, posted in 2018 and updated in 2021, states: "The federal government is demanding that the company building a giant nuclear waste treatment plant in Washington state provide records proving that the steel used in the nearly $17 billion project meets safety standards." The page states further: "The U.S. Department of Energy says in a letter obtained by The Associated Press that records needed to ensure that the structural steel used in the project is safe are either missing or of 'indeterminate quality.'"

Well, you really would think that any sane person would have checked into the structural steel issue at a much earlier date in the construction process, before the main, multi-story building was half built. This issue should have been checked at a much earlier date, especially considering that there are some geologic faults which are located rather close to this building --- one being the north-south aligned May Junction Fault lineament. These faults could potentially be associated with serious and damaging earthquakes.







BLATANTLY  IGNORING  PROBLEMS

The page linked below is from 2019. It speaks of parts going into the Waste Treatment Plant project which "are not documented properly to insure their safety for nuclear waste processing." The page states: "'They [DOE and contractors] didn't do anything. They just kept plugging away,' said Tom Carpenter with the Seattle-based watchdog group Hanford Challenge." Well, all of this would make a lot of sense, especially if by chance the facility is being built for another use than that which is claimed.


Looking further into things at the Hanford Waste Treatment Plant, the 2020 page linked below speaks about the two main contractors on the project which "knowingly violated quality standards at Hanford and used substandard materials" in this extremely critical plant. So, what is really going on at the Hanford facility? Who would use substandard materials to build this type of plant? ...Unless, once again, the plant is actually being built for something completely different than that which they have been claiming that it is for.


Now, for those who desire additional information about what is going on at the Hanford site and the Waste Treatment Plant, just check out the pages linked below. It appears that there are some serious doubts about the highly questionable plant. But, that stands to reason, especially if by chance the plant is being built for a completely different purpose than they have been claiming.







THE  "DESIGN-BUILD"  APPROACH

When it comes to the Hanford Waste Treatment Plant, the page from 2012 which is linked below speaks of Congress' Government Accountability Office which "launched a sweeping review of everything from cost and schedule overruns to the risks associated with the Energy Department's decision to proceed with construction before completing and verifying the design of key components."

The page goes on to state: "The 'design-build' approach 'is good if you're building a McDonald's,' said Gene Aloise, the GAO's director of nuclear non-proliferation and security. 'It's not good if you're building a one-of-a-kind, high-risk nuclear waste facility.'" And, there is another thing to consider about the "design-build" approach. No one outside of "the insider's clique" knows what is really being built, until it is finished.


Now, the pages linked below also include information about the potential for equipment-damaging hydrogen explosions or even the possibility for uncontrolled criticality accidents or uncontrolled nuclear reactions inside the Hanford Waste Treatment Plant, if it were to ever be used to process the nuclear waste in those deteriorating, 177 underground storage tanks at Hanford. So, it appears that this plant really is not properly designed for processing nuclear waste. So then, what is it really designed for doing? What are they hiding?







D.O.E.  LIMITING  ACCESS  &  OVERSIGHT

From what is stated in the 2018 page linked below, it appears that the highly questionable, rather sly and secretive U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has been trying to limit access by a federal safety board to the Hanford facility and important pieces of documentation about the Waste Treatment Plant. The page notes that the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board "was created by Congress to make recommendations to the energy secretary on safety issues at Hanford and elsewhere." So, what is the Nazified DOE trying to hide?


From what is stated in the page linked below, it appears that the DOE restricting access by the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board to important pieces of information and reports, plus to DOE facilities like Hanford, is contrary to the U.S. Atomic Energy Act. There is something which just does not look right in this picture of what the Nazified DOE is doing.

Because of what the DOE is doing and because of what they are hiding, the public better be looking even much more closely at what the DOE is really doing. There is possibly much more to the story of what they are actually building and hiding at Hanford, plus who they are ultimately working for...which it appears is not actually for the authentic citizens of the United States.






ANOTHER  VERY  SERIOUS  PROBLEM  EXPOSED

Well, check out the page from April 11, 2022, which is linked below. Lo and behold, it appears that they have been hiding another very serious problem from from the general public, which relates to the infamous Hanford Waste Treatment Plant. The sub-heading of the page declares: "An internal federal document says the preparation for turning nuclear waste into glass logs will produce toxic vapors." The page goes on to state the following:

"Fourteen years behind its original deadline, the Hanford Nuclear Reservation is scheduled to begin turning radioactive wastes into benign glass in 2023. However, an internal federal document said the preparatory process for this work will produce toxic vapors from a substance called acetonitrile, which would be unsafe for workers and people and animals that live nearby. In fact, that complication has not been studied, said the U.S. Department of Energy report dated Aug. 27, 2021." What kind of "game" are these a-holes playing?

The linked page goes on to state: "Acetonitrile, which exists in liquid and vapor forms, is easily ignited by heat, sparks or flames. When ignited, it gives off hydrogen cyanide fumes and potentially flammable vapors. Short-term effects from exposure can range from eye, nose and lung irritation to heart irregularities and death. Long-term, exposure could enlarge the thyroid gland and damage the liver, lungs, kidneys and the central nervous system." Well, it appears that they are working to "get us" one way or another!


When it comes to the August 27, 2021 internal document which speaks about this serious and potentially deadly problem, the page linked about states: "'No one mentions this document. No one mentions the worker exposure issues. ... As far as I'm concerned, DOE hid this document (the August 2021 memo) from disclosure,' Carpenter said." So, what other serious cover-ups are going on at the Hanford site? What else are they working to deceive the public about? Is this the mere tip of the "iceberg?"





A  SECRETIVE  "GOVERNMENT"  WITHIN  THE  GOVERNMENT

Is there a possible reason for why the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) may not actually be working in the best interests of the genuine citizens of the authentic United States? Why does it appear that the DOE and their buddies are basically just doing what they want at Hanford, while everyone else can be damned? If they are not working in the best interests of the genuine citizens of the authentic United States, then who could they really be working for? Is it for the U.S. elite, or is it actually for a hijacking, foreign power?

Now, in the early 1900s, President Theodore Roosevelt spoke of something nefarious which was going on behind the scenes in this country. President Roosevelt declared: "Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people. To destroy this invisible government, to befoul the unholy alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politics is the first task of the statesmanship of today."(1)(2)(3)(4)(5)(6)(7)(8)(9)(10)

So, who is actually behind, instigating and controlling this invisible government which owes no allegiance to and acknowledges no responsibility to the genuine citizens of the authentic United States? Who is actually controlling this unholy alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politicians or government officials? And, are corrupt government officials and corrupt business entities what are in control of things at Hanford, even when it comes to the construction of the Waste Treatment Plant?     More to come...




It is time to expose things as best as we can, using available, documented information.

It is time to learn that special, important history which they did not teach you in school.
And, it is time to learn about the chemical, biological and nuclear war against citizens.







NOTES:

This is just the INTRODUCTION to what is coming. Now, there is reason to suspect that in the days ahead, the general public will suddenly find out what the "trouble-plagued," so-called Vitrification Plant or Waste Treatment Plant is really all about. And now, there are some questions which should be asked.

Is there a chance that the Waste Treatment Plant could potentially make a better gasification plant, than a nuclear-waste vitrification plant? And then, a question may be, "What would they gasify in it?" Well, is there potentially a chance that Adolf Hitler and his Nazis, from the WW2 era, could be smiling in their graves?

Speaking of Adolf Hitler, he stated: "What luck for rulers that men do not think."(1) Another similar quote of Hitler's is this: "How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think."(1) And, this appears to be especially true when it comes to the shennanigans which are going on at Hanford.

By the way, Hitler also said: "If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed."(1) And again: "The greater the lie, the greater the chance that it will be believed."(1) Now, Adolf Hitler was raised up by the Jesuits and his Nazis were under the control of the Jesuit/Catholics.

And then, there was that infamous CIA Director who declared: "We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false."(1) And, that could potentially be what is happening, when it comes to what "those in control" are telling us about Hanford.
