EASTER...

...What  is  it

REALLY  About ?

Is Easter really about the Lord Jesus Christ rising from the dead...
...or is it truly a sham holiday and actually about something far
different? Did Jesus Christ actually rise from the dead around
the time when Easter is commonly celebrated, or did he likely
rise from the dead at a somewhat different time of the year?
Is there a chance that Easter is part of the extensive, centuries
old, papal and Jesuit history of deception (1)(2), forgeries and lies?

BIRTHS  AND  DEATHS

When people are born upon this earth, especially when it is a famous person, their birth is recorded. They are known to be born on a certain day and at a particular time of year. And then, when people die, especially when it is a famous person, the date of their death is usually accurately recorded. The date of their death is commonly a fixed date. On the calendar, the date of their death does not drift around between days and weeks of months of the year, nor is the date of their death different from one year to the next.

Prior to the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ, he declared: "For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth."(1) And, prior to the crucifixion of Jesus, he had stated: "After three days I will rise again."(1) It is also written of Jesus: "And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again."(1)

Now, if the Lord Jesus Christ was crucified and buried on a certain day at a particular time of the year, and then arose three days later, the date of his resurrection should be the same, from year to year. The date of his resurrection should not be found "floating around" between days and weeks of months of the year on our calendars. It should be the same date, year after year. But, when it comes to Easter and the supposed celebration of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, what do we find?

THE  DRIFTING  EASTER  CELEBRATION

The celebration of Easter happens at some point in the months of March and April. Over the years, Easter has been celebrated at various points between March 22 and April 25. So, the variation in the time when Easter is typically celebrated, from year to year, spans more than a month. What is going on here? If the Lord Jesus Christ was crucified and buried on a certain date, and then arose from the dead three days later, how can the date of the supposed resurrection celebration be so varied from year to year?

Is the Easter celebration really about the resurrection of the authentic Lord Jesus Christ, or is it actually celebrating something far different? With the dates for Easter varying so widely from one year to the next, what is Easter actually based upon? And, is Easter truly a Christian celebration? Does it even have anything to do with the actual resurrection of the authentic Lord Jesus Christ? Well, the page linked below shows that Easter is on a calculated date. It is not based upon the resurrection date of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The linked page states: "Easter falls on the first Sunday after the Full Moon date, based on mathematical calculations, that falls on or after March 21. If the Full Moon is on a Sunday, Easter is celebrated on the following Sunday." Wow! So the date for Easter, from year to year, has absolutely nothing to do with the time when the Lord Jesus Christ arose from the dead. The date for Easter is based on the moon and what it is doing. And, Easter appears to be based on what the ancient Babylonians were doing in their religion.

The page linked below provides dates for the Easter celebration, from the year 1600 to the year 2099. And again, note that these dates have absolutely nothing to do with the actual time when the Lord Jesus Christ arose from the grave. As we shall see later in this presentation, the Easter celebration has nothing to do with genuine Christianity, but it appears that the Easter celebration actually has ancient pagan origins. Then, the papal crowd put a "Christian-sounding name" on it...and deceived people honor it (1)(2).

WHEN  DID  JESUS  RISE  FROM  THE  DEAD ?

In order to understand when Jesus arose from the grave, we must examine what the Holy Bible actually states. Matthew writes: "In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it."(1) Now, the true seventh day sabbath of God is on the day commonly called Saturday.

As seen later in the passage of Scripture linked above, the angel told the women that Jesus had already risen from the dead. Mark (1) states: "And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun... And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great." And again, they were told that Jesus had already risen. Jesus had risen sometime before the rising of the sun on Sunday.

There are now things to consider. The angel likely rolled away the stone from the entry of the sepulchre just so Mary and the others could see that Jesus had risen from the dead and that the sepulchre was empty. Jesus did not need the stone to be rolled away, in order for him to get out of the sepulchre. Now, after Jesus had risen from the dead, he met with his disciples and declared: "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth."(1) Jesus also appeared to two of his disciples "in another form."(1)

After Jesus had risen from the dead, he ended up going with two disciples to their dwelling (1). But, the disciples had not realized that it was Jesus with them (1). It is then written: "And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight."(1) Yes, Jesus was sitting with these two disciples as they were eating. Then, after he broke bread and gave it to them, he vanished!

Then, there were two cases where the disciple were gathered at a certain place. It appears that they were basically hiding or meeting in secret. Regarding the first case, it is written that "the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews..."(1) And then "came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you." It does not say that Jesus came in through one of the doors which someone had opened for him. And, eight day later, Jesus did it again (1).

So again, when Jesus rose from the dead, the stone at the mouth of the sepulchre did not need to be rolled away so that Jesus could get out. More realistically, the stone was rolled away by the angel so Mary and the others could see that Jesus was risen and no longer in the sepulchre. And, Peter and another disciple were able to look into the sepulchre and see the linen grave clothes lying there, and "the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself."(1)

And again, Jesus even appeared "in another form"(1) to two of his disciples. In exactly what form, the Holy Bible doesn't say. And in all of this, it should be noted that this same Lord Jesus Christ was used by God in the beginning to create all things which were created (1)(2). Truly, in his risen and glorified form, Jesus did not need doors opened for him to suddenly appear within a room. And now, let us look again at indications of when Jesus actually arose from the dead.

John declares: "The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre."(1) So, Mary came to the sepulchre early in the morning on the first day of the week, which would be Sunday. She came early in the morning while it was still dark. And then, before it was even truly daylight, she found that Jesus had already risen. Jesus had actually risen, pre-dawn, sometime during what we would call the Saturday-into-Sunday night.

Now, people either believe the Lord Jesus Christ and what he has declared, or they don't actually believe in the true Lord Jesus Christ at all. People must fully follow and believe in what the Lord Jesus Christ has declared, that they may be authentic Christians, or, they are not genuine Christians at all. And again, the Lord Jesus Christ declared: "For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth."(1)

Yes, Jesus was in the sepulchre for three days and three nights. Unfortunately, there are religious gamers and deceivers in our world who try to make people believe that Jesus was not in that sepulchre for three days and three nights. Well, in the final day of judgement, when they stand before God to be judged, they can tell him that Jesus was not in the grave for a literal three days and three nights. And, the Holy Bible declares that "all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone..."(1)(2)

WORSHIPING  THE  RISING  SUN:  SUNRISE  SERVICES

When it come to those Easter Sunrise Services where the participants are facing eastward to the rising sun, are the people truly worshiping the rising Christ, or are they actually worshiping something else...something which is very pagan? Now, in the Holy Bible it speaks about the man of sin (1), who is the son of perdition. This man of sin is leading people to perdition in the everlasting lake of fire and torment. He just wants to deceive people into sinning against God, so they will be damned (1) in the end.

Now, the man of sin and those of his organization have historically taken pagan holidays and rituals and then placed a "Christian sounding" name on these very pagan things. Then, the man of sin gets so-called "Christians" to perform the acts of the pagan rituals, while these deceived people believe that they are worshiping God and Christ. Yes, the sly man of sin and his organization have multiple billions of people deceived, in what he gets them to do. And, that holds true for Easter and those Sunrise Services.
