There are some important things to consider, in order for a person to be properly prepared for the coming Day of the LORD. In the authentic Holy Bible, it is written: "Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: but let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD."(1)
Unfortunately, there are few who truly understand and know the LORD God. There are few who glory in and honor the LORD God, by truly walking in his ordained way. Instead, many glory in themselves. Their ego is puffed up, over the amount of carnal wisdom which they have. Others are puffed up because of their power and might. Others glory in their riches. They are full of themselves and have no desire to know or walk in the true way of God and Christ. They are not properly prepared for the rapidly approaching Day of the LORD.
When it comes to those many people who glory in their riches, there is something to note. In the authentic Holy Bible, it mentions those who are "destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness."(1) Yes, these people that think their earthly gain reflects their degree of godliness, are actually destitute of the real truth of God. And, when it comes to these "gain is godliness" people, the Holy Bible, accessed by the preceding link, instructs the true people of God to withdraw themselves from these people who are destitute of the real truth.
Now, in the authentic Holy Bible, it is clearly written: "Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?"(1) It is also written: "Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich."(1) Again, it is written: "The rich man is wise in his own conceit; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out."(1) Yes, the poor closely examine the rich, to see what they REALLY are.
In the authentic Holy Bible, it is written: "Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God."(1) Only if the rich humble themselves and turn to the true way of God and Christ, and then do that with their riches that God has commanded, shall they ever be able to enter the true kingdom of God. There is no other way.
Again, the "gain is godliness" crowd and their prosperity ministers are destitute of the real truth of God. They do not know the genuine Christ...the true Son of God, therefore, they are not true, biblical Christians. And, because they are destitute of the truth and are not walking in the true way of God and Christ, they are not properly prepared for the approaching Day of the LORD. They are on the road to eternal destruction because they have rejected the true way of God and Christ...and, their names are not written in the book of life (1).
At this point, let us consider the cold, hard truth. When it comes to those who have found the true way, and those who are on the road to eternal destruction, the Lord Jesus Christ clearly proclaimed: "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."(1) The gate to destruction has to be wide, because so many are going to hell. And, as Christ made very clear: few there be that find the way which leads to THAT life (1).
Now, the Lord Jesus Christ spoke a parable, to show how it shall be, especially for the rich who are not walking in the true way of God and Christ, plus doing that with their riches which the true God of heaven desires. The following words are what Jesus spoke:
"There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: and there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, and desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; and in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence."(1)
God does not have time to waste on those who want to ignore his true way and want to be "gamers" in religion. If they are playing games and not genuinely desiring the real truth of God and Christ, plus the true way in which the genuine people of God are to walk, God has a special way of dealing with them. In the authentic Holy Bible, it speaks about those who do not have a love of the real truth (1). Since they don't have a genuine love for the real truth, they will NOT (1)(2) be saved. And, because they are "gamers" in religion and don't have a love for the real truth, let's see how God deals with them at this time.
Because these people don't genuinely love the real truth of God and Christ, nor do they really care about walking in the true way which God has ordained, "God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."(1) Since these people are playing "games" with God and religion, God has sent them a strong delusion that they should believe a lie. And so, God has sent them misleading "prosperity ministers".
In the authentic Holy Bible, it is further written: "But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness."(1)
It is also written: "Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten. Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire.
Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth."(1)
Now, looking again at those religious "gamers" who have no love for the real truth, nor a desire to actually walk in the true way of God and Christ...as noted earlier, "God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."(1) Yes, that is how God deals with the religious "gamers". They shall believe a lie, that they may be damned...damned to an eternity in the everlasting lake of fire (1)(2)(3)(4)(5)(6)(7)(8)(9)(10)(11)(12)(13)(14).
Looking further into these things, it appears that part of the strong delusion which God has sent upon a large share of religious "gamers" and those which want to have their pleasure in unrighteousness --- plus part of the lie that they have "swallowed" --- is that very sly, historically-deceptive organization which has those child abusing and raping priests and nuns, along with that carnally-minded, paganized (1)(2)(3)(4)(5), ice-cube-blessing pope...who there's reason to suspect --- based on the things written in the authentic Holy Bible --- that he, along with his hierarchy, shall have their eternity in the everlasting lake of fire.
And now, there is more to consider. In the authentic Holy Bible, it is written: "Wherewith shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before the high God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?
Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?"(1)
Yes, that is a major requirement for mankind: to do justly and love mercy, and to also walk HUMBLY with the true God of heaven. But, are the people of this world walking humbly with God? Nay, rather, all too many of them are out marching, shouting and creating chaos, plus assaulting people and terrorizing the public, and setting things on fire when they have the chance, as they push their evil agendas. There shall be a horrendous price for these ones to pay for all this demonic activity, in the fast-approaching Day of The Lord.
When it comes to what humanity is supposed to be doing, the authentic Holy Bible declares: "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil."(1) Yes, the duty of mankind is to fear God. And, they are to humble themselves before God and be obedient to all that he has commanded. And regarding this, Christ showed us the true way.
So, what shall it be like in the Day of the LORD? Well, there are many things written about it in both the Old Testament and the New Testament of the Holy Bible. But, the excerpt below should be a good starting point for further research in the complete Holy Bible. If you truly want to know what things shall be like, then take the time to read the complete, authentic Holy Bible, from cover to cover, over and over again, while asking God to reveal his truth, until the truth fully sinks in. Now, the following is written in the authentic Holy Bible:
"And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; and the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; and said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: for the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"(1)
Well, at this point in time, it seems that the wicked don't really believe in the true God of heaven, but simply "thumb their noses" at God, plus at his Christ. Now, as words to those who are wise, the following is written in the authentic Holy Bible: "God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day. If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready. He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors."(1)
And, what a day that shall be, when the patience of God finally comes to an abrupt end (1), and the severe judgement from God begins upon this earth and wicked humanity. When the judgement from God suddenly begins, there is reason to suspect that virtually all of wicked humanity will quickly begin believing in God...but, unfortunately, it will be much too late for them...for their eternal destiny will have already been set. So, at this point, let us prepare to look further into what the fast-approaching, Day of the Lord shall actually be like.
There are some preliminary things to consider. In the authentic Holy Bible, it is written: "Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure."(1)
Yes, the heathen rage! They march and shout, in support of their evil things. They do this in defiance of the true way which God has ordained. They virtually "thumb their collective noses" at the LORD God of heaven and at his authentic Christ. They march and shout, plus create chaos. Yes, the wicked imagine a vain thing. And, worse yet, even those in governing positions are working to trample under foot the true way of God and Christ. The wicked think they are so great and powerful, but the LORD God laughs at them because he knows they are just fools. They are blind to their utter destruction, which in rapidly approaching.
When it comes to the utter destruction of the wicked --- which is rapidly approaching --- there is something important and revealing to note. The following words are written in the authentic Holy Bible: "O LORD, how great are thy works! And thy thoughts are very deep. A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this. When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever: but thou, LORD, art most high for evermore."(1) And today, the wicked do spring up all over, like the grass...and the workers of iniquity do flourish. But, that day is coming.
Regarding what is coming, the Lord Jesus Christ spoke the following words, as he walked upon this earth: "And as it was in the days of Noe [Noah], so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe [Noah] entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed."(1)
In the authentic Holy Bible, it is written: "The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. The LORD shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.
The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation. Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken."(1)
Yes, the wicked --- even today --- plot against the just. They virtually "thumb their collective noses" at God and his true way, as they look for ways to crush under, dominate and enslave those who desire to walk in the true way of God and Christ. And, the wicked in governing positions have even worked to use the tax system as a vehicle to force the true people of God to support wicked things. But --- even today --- the LORD in heaven laughs at the wicked who "thumb their noses" at him. In the end, the swords --- or the weapons of the wicked --- shall be turned against them (1) and work to the utter destruction of the wicked.
In the authentic Holy Bible, it is also written: " Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: she crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying, How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? And the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; but ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; when your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: for that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: they would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them."(1)
When it comes to the devastating day of the LORD which is rapidly approaching, there is something very important to note in the authentic Holy Bible. It is written: "Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! To what end is it for you? The day of the LORD is darkness, and not light. As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him. Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? Even very dark, and no brightness in it?"(1)
Yes, "Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD!" If you are desiring that day of devastation and huge loss of life, then your heart is not right with God. If you desire that horrid day, then you are not walking in the true way of Christ. If you call yourself a Christian, then it should not be your desire for any to perish, but that all would come to repentance (1). If you call yourself a Christian, then there is a huge job for you to be doing...while there is still time...or you, also, may be cast out (1)(2). You are to be speaking and doing the truth, plus calling people to repent of their sins, to then turn and walk in the true way of God and Christ.
When it comes to the rapidly-approaching, utterly incredible day of the LORD, the following words are written in the authentic Holy Bible: "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."(1) Yes, the day of the Lord shall come as, or in the manner of, a thief in the night. When this utterly stunning event happens, it will be totally unexpected by the vast majority of humanity. So yes, if you expect to be among the saved, then watch (1)(2)(3) and pray (1)(2)(3).
